CHAPTER 9

502 Words
LILY'S POV I wished Hannah a good night before I retired to bed. I thought that I could sleep almost immediately due to exhaustion but that did not happen. I was not able to sleep in the next couple of minutes because I started thinking about Hannah. Damn, she is always on my mind. I was not only thinking about Hannah as my friend but also as my romantic partner. I loved her. I loved everything about her. The bond that we had, the way she smiles. I loved everything about her. What worries me is her reaction when I tell her that I am attracted to girls. I don't know if she will support me or if she will completely hate me. Till I am quite sure of her reply, I am going to keep my secret even if it hurts me to hide it from her. Sometimes I wish that she was also attracted to girls. I swear, once the two of us become a couple, I will make her twice as happy as I make her right now. We will be so happy with each other. I love her so much. Actually I have some tiny hope that she is probably attracted to girls since she has never talked about being with a guy or stuff like that. We have never talked about boys like Maddie and the rest of the girls. I don't know how long I slept but I was woken up by a slap on my face. "What the hell is wrong with you!" I shouted when I opened my eyes and saw Maddie grinning at me. "Get out of your bed, we have an errand for you!" She ordered. "I am not getting out of my bed!" I countered but she slapped me again and it was so painful. "I will tell sister Mercy about this,"I warned. "We both know that she won't believe you so you better get out of the bed," She warned and at this point my hands were tied. Maddie is a mean girl and I wondered what she was up to this time round. She dragged me to where Hannah was soundly sleeping and I knew that this was not going to end well. "I can't do this,"I told Maddie as I stopped walking. "Don't try me Lily, okay. Do as I say!" She ordered and that was final. "Wake her up!Do it!" She ordered as I looked around uncomfortably hoping that someone would come in and help me. The moment Hannah woke up and saw me with Maddie, I knew for a fact that this was going to affect our friendship. Before Hannah could figure out what was happening, they flooded her bed with water before Maddie pulled me away. She was laughing hysterically as Hannah's eyes became wet. I just hoped that she was going to forgive me when I told her everything that happened beforehand. I cannot lose her. Not now when I love her so much.
