Aftermath of a prank

I'm currently in a hospital bed waiting for the doctor to finish putting a cast on my leg. Matthew and payton decided to pull a bathroom prank on me and it backfired on them.

I was on my way to the bathroom when I noticed everyone looking at me funny and I just ignored it, I was all sweaty and needed a shower. This school provides students with three lockers, one located near the shower rooms in each level, one near the classroom and the last one is located near the gigantic gym for our sports equipment since it's mandatory to participate in at least two sports from horse riding to volleyball.

River city high school is a 10 story building, the 1st level is for clubs within the schools, 2nd to 3rd level is dedicated to sports. From chess to basketball and it even has a hockey rink, any type you can do inside that you can think of is on those two levels except for house riding.. Level 4 is only for teachers and the student union, the assembly room is also located there. Level 5 is for the freshman classes, Level 6 is for sophomore and level 7 is for seniors. Level 8 is for the Elite class that I am in for kids with high IQ mostly heirs of major companies or children of top officials for advanced knowledge and most labs are located there. Level 9 and 10 is the location of the cafeteria and on school dorm rooms.

The school is on a 20acre land. Outside has a horse ranch , football and soccer stadiums, polo field, basketball and volleyball court etc.

I was at the volleyball court earlier today with Ayanda , my classmate. After taking my clothes and towels from my locker I was on my way to the showers on the 8th level. Mat and payton are on 6th level due to their lack of interest in studies. Matthew although has straight A's, he can't catch up to the level in Elite class since we do up to 12 subjects whilst they stick to the high school standard. I was lucky to at least get away from them but I still see them in the common areas.

I was checking the temperature of the water when I heard the door opening. I was still in my active wear so it didn't bother me much , the showers here are big and private so each bathroom has up to 5 or 6 showers. I was about to remove my shirt when my shower door was kicked open.

" Well what do we have here" payton said holding a phone with matthew and four other people with them.

" Can I help you ? You're obviously on the wrong level payton so what do you want?" I asked putting my shirt on properly. I noticed that I still had my phone on me so I discreetly turned on the voice recorder in case I won't have evidence of their harassment.

" I made a bet with Jake about how a fat body looks like and I wanted to check since we have you as an example former neighbor" matthew said.

" Excuse me?" I said looking at them disgusted.

" Don't let us disturb you, go on. Strip. " said payton.

" I don't have time for this" I said taking my things preparing to leave.

Payton tried to reach my hair and out of instinct thanks to Captain Denver I threw her over my shoulder and she crashed into the blurred glass taking the girl next to her with her down. Matthew tried to grab me but I side stepped and he fell on top of payton.

One of the boys that came with matthew screamed when he saw that the girl that fell earlier was unconscious and bleeding. Payton tried to grab me ignoring the girl but miscalculated and i fell down in the shower, due to my fall payton failed to grab me and hit the shower panel. All of this was live on payton's phone that was still held by the screaming guy.

Sam the president of our students union came in with some of the senior and grabbed the phone turning it off . The principal came after with the teachers and our school doctor. Due to the pain and a huge headache I fainted and woke up in the VIP room with my grandfather yelling at my bodyguards for their failure to protect me.

I found out that the video went viral and all the bullying the six people and "jack" did was dug out by the citizens. All 800+ students of our school saw it and it even reached the media. It was a mess. The truth about my birth parents was revealed and the fact that I wasn't Eric and Quinn's daughter somehow got out. Payton and Matthew were on the spotlight and it wasn't pretty. I had a concussion on the head and a broken leg, Payton had a concussion and glass embedded in her skin plus a nasty scar on her upper forehead, matthew had to have an operation to remove a piece of glass in his left hand meaning he'll miss football season. The girl who was unconscious turned out to be the notorious Marnie Silas who was as the hook up girl in school.

She didn't have any major injuries , she fainted due to distress when she saw blood that came from payton since she broke her fall. She was found to be four weeks pregnant which was a major blow since she stayed in the dorms with payton. Students staying on campus aren't allowed to interact with boys nor are they allowed on the boys dom rooms on level 9 and the time line suggest that she was in school at the time of conception. An investigation on her schedule that week is being conducted by the school to see how she could have been pregnant due to how strict the school is especially for kids on campus.

To be honest, the truth about Timothy being my father doesn't bother me as much as it should since I never met the guy nor my mom. Uncle Eric and Quinn ruined it all for me. Jack wasn't at the scene of the crime so he got away from punishment by denying the fact that it was his suggestion.

All the blame was shifted towards payton and Matthew. Matthew's father had to pay a huge amount of money to me as compensation so that we wouldn't press charges against matthew for harassment. All six of them faced punishment. The two boys that came with matthew and Marnie' friend were suspended, Marnie, payton and Matthew were expelled. River city high school never takes sides nor will they allow bribery. They had received multiple complains regarding payton but they didn't make a move because there was never any proof.

Matthew's expellesion was revised because of his grades and achievements in school but he had to offer a public apology at the school assembly to me and for breaking the rules. He was to be on probation and if he makes a mistake, he'll leave the school.

I had to stay at the hospital for a month for observation. Sarah and Mac were my frequent visitors. Sarah had apologized for her brother's behavior even though she didn't have to. My grandfather is always with me. He and I were very close but he still wasn't ready to tell me about my parents. He did show me their pictures and told me how they had picked my name which was after my grandma.

Although I lost weight, i was still a little chubby and the baby fat on my face didn't help. Our society has unreasonable rules on how the girls from high class society are supposed to look, what they should eat, how much they should eat. Technically Mackenzie and I are also debutantes but we aren't interested in that. Anyway i spent two months in the hospital doing research on our company and seeing what we were missing. My grandfather works a lot and i was often left alone at home with my nanny and maids including butler Lan so i read almost all the books at the library and that includes grandpa's books about business and economics. I have photogenic memory so i remember everything as long as I've seen it or heard it.

I noticed a lot of problems with the applications of the group so i called the guys over at the estate so we could talk. Because of my intelligence, grandpa gave me a whole wing at the estate so that i can turn it into a lab and office since i am always home.

Mackenzie always visits me everyday to the point where i had to prepare a permanent room for her. She and I were currently in my huge home office waiting for the guys to arrive since it's the weekend. They came two hours later and I set up the security system around the house to avoid any unwanted ears.

" Okay guys . welcome to the first official shareholders meeting of the Four luck group." I said.

" Yes, I guess it's official then " said Mason.

" Yeah! Welcome Miss chairwomen" said Finn and Mackenzie.

" Yes , there are three documents in front of you" I said while moving towards the round table I bought last week

" The first document is the legal placement of our titles officially and the roles or responsibility that come with it. The second is the right to ownership of the four Luck Group and the right to any subsidiaries you start or acquired but of course after a shareholders vote. The third document contains the overall situation of our group. As you can see, there is no group! The two companies Mason and Finn started aren't registered under the group nor independently. The format of the group at the moment is a bank. After the notorization of the first and second documents, the group will officially be legal including our roles. Only then can we register the companies. As you can see , it is not wise to be in the limelight at the moment. I researched some of the capable managers that are currently in need of a job or graduates with suitable for any role required from all types of fields. I did a background on them and narrowed it down to 10 individuals. Mason , Your company is okay but it lacks individual charm to it. Buying and selling houses isn't making money with the current real estate market. I'll be giving you three managers. Open an interior/ exterior design studio and start hiring architectures , designers and realtors. They'll have the title of vice CEO , general manager and director. You will continue going to school but you'll need to move out of your dorm room. I bought you a house near your varsity and it has privacy you'll need because our dear commander will be sending you experts to teach you any type of combat you wish to learn in exchange of course we'll be responsible for their p*****t and accomodations which is why the house is a three bedroom condo. Finn your company will be transformed into a talent agency. You will get a vice CEO, a general manager and talent manager to help you with recruitment of talents. You also need to watch out for up and coming directors so we can invest in any projects that have potential. You'll also get the perfect trainer for any combat and all the arts from piano to dancing to singing until you graduate from yale or when you learned all of the skills you want to master. Mackenzie, you be studying finance from different financial sectors and you'll be interning at firms during school vacations but that will require getting perfect grades and if anyone asks. You want to be a financial advisor as a cover. You can start your company after you think you're ready. We had 1.5 billion in our company from Mason and Finn's investments plus I sold one of my invention for 75 million. 2 million will be spent on branding the group, I bought a nine story building for 35 million in the central capital city here in A Country that will serve as our headquarters. The 9th floor connected to the rooftop is where our private offices will be. The 8th floor is for the remaining 4 general managers I found and a few high ranking individuals that we will find as we grow. The 7th floor is for my newly built product research company that i had registered a month ago, I gave you each details on what type of product we could make and it is the first company under Four Luck Group since the other two are still in the process of being acquired. The 6th floor is for Mason's real estate agency, The 5th is for Finn's entertainment agency, the 4th will be Mackenzie's firm when she decides to open it. the 3rd and 2nd will be rented out until a new company is formed. the 1st will be our reception area and a few offices plus a boardroom. The building itself has no issues but it will be transformed into our image and we can renovate it depending on how ever style suit you best. We'll each receive 15 million as a budget to renovate each of our floor. We are still a small group so the building is perfect for us and it's in a great location. I also bought 5 factories of our own so we could produce our own products or perhaps convert one or two into studios. 2 will be used as factories of whatever products we wish to make at the moment but we'll see as time goes. The fifth one will leave as it is. 20 million will be used for the rented floors and 20 million for the exterior of the building plus the 1st floor and the parking lot which is in need of security. That's 100 million for the whole building, 13 million for the factories which were on the brink of bankruptcy due to mismanagement. I kept useful staff and fired useless ones so we will also receive extra income there if we start taking orders or save money if we self produce ones ourselves. The money used totals up to 150 million. Finn , the current movie investment you made for 10 million, I want you to increase the investment by 20 million. I know that director, most of his work is successful and the scripts he used has the potential to reach out to massive. You'll also get 10 million as a start up and i believe that the returns from the movie will be enough to fund any projects you wish to take on. Mason , I bought 6 run down mansions for 2 million each here in the capital and you will be getting 5 million to cover the cost of renovations. Those mansion are in a great location close to entertainment area and shops. I believe that you will get over 20 million or more for each property if the renovations are done properly. The Rogers family filled for bankruptcy a month ago and Some of their hotels are going under so i need you to acquire the hotels under them. I believe the money from the sale of the 6 mansions will be over a 100 million so it will be enough to acquire plus renovate them. They have 3 hotels but due to misappropriate of funds and lack of taste, the hotels were at least three stars. After evaluations they are valued under 20 million. Offer them 28 million when the time comes to avoid a bidding war. They are also in a good tourist location so we will have a good income from there. I also allocated 5 million so you can use for your company. I allocated 10 million for my company which will be used for product research plus recruiting. " I said.

" I guess it's official then. I guess we have a busy time ahead of us" said Mason.

"Any questions?" I asked them as they were still looking at the documents.

" I am not ready to start a firm yet so we should rent out my floor. Said Mac.

" Okay that's understandable and you can use the rent money from the rent as your starting capital. We also need to talk about your company names guys" I said looking at Mason and Finn.

" Yes talk about being conceited , that's like pointing and arrow at your self. Mase real estate? Final Entertainment?" said Mackenzie.

" Now that you mentioned it, it doesn't sound appealing. I just named it casually." said Finn.

" What's wrong with Mase?" asked Mason

" The name should be appealing to buyers and not make them think that they are buying a maze when they are trying to escape one"I said.

"At least make it meaningful so that you can look back in the future of how the foundation of your life started" said Mac.

" Fine. How about Mist Real estate. ?" said Mason.

" That's good and what about you Finn, is yours a 'final' decision?" Mac teased.

" HA HA HA, seriously Mac?" Finn said with a bit of embarrassment and we all couldn't help but laugh at him.

" Anyway, i wanted to name it scarlet entertainment after my late girlfriend who i still don't believe is dead and i am pretty sure that evil man has something to do about it." said Finn.

" okay guys. All you have to do is sign on the paperwork and we are officially official." I said .

I gave them time to look it through since we couldn't alert the people who were watching us. I know they only wanted me as the Chairman so that they could get help from grandpa or at least the resources i have at my disposal but i won't expose them since they will be the ones doing all the work. I could tell that they wanted to take their time and let me do it all but didn't expect me to give them more work and goals they had to achieve. There is no free lunch in this world and no one will help unless you are willing to help yourself but i hate being used for anything.

Matthew on the other hand was having a hard time because his mother refused to talk to him nor punished him for what he did. He was very angry with payton because she only said that she wanted to take a video of lira naked but didn't say anything about live broadcast it. It almost cost him his sports career. He didn't know what but there was something different about Lira, he just couldn't put a finger on it. He knew that payton was always hiding something from him, they grew up together after all.

At some point, he also had feelings for her but it all faded when he caught her with his best friend Neo when they were 13 at their favorite summer camp. At such a young age and she had already learned such immoral activities dashed all the feelings he had for her, it was hard at first since they were friends since they were 4. To his surprise, Neo and Payton behaved as if they were strangers whenever they saw him, he knew they were still doing it even now and suspect that she might have been pregnant at some point.

His mother ignored him ever since she found out about this incident and wanted to strangle him for bullying such a " pitiful" child. He knew he was wrong and that he has to reconsider his relationship with his friends. He still couldn't get the image of Lira in his head. He tried to deny it but he knew that he felt something for her. All his chances are probably ruined by now.

" Mom please, talk to me" he pleaded when his mother ignored him again today.

" Why did you do it?" she asked. He knew what he meant.

" I don't know. It bothered me that she ignores me and i guess i got influenced by my friends." he said.

" Make sure to get her apology or consider yourself disowned" Libby said before leaving her son behind who brought back many bad memories of her childhood.

" I will mom " Matthew said determined to make things right.

He didn't get a chance to see her at school and later found out that she graduated early and is on her way to one of the best universities in the world. He felt awful and vowed to get her forgiveness in the future.
