Fateful Marriage

Normally people get excited to try out new things in life but I was petrified, Lira thought as she watched the local football match. She skipped a few grades in order to avoid dealing with her deranged older brother at school who was only a year older than her but ended up in the same school as her psychopath elder sister who was currently 16 and about to enter Raven high school the same time as her. She is currently 12 years old and a science prodigy. She lives with her grandfather who took her away from her parents due to their mistreatment and neglect. Her mom and dad are only focused on the brother most of the time and the white lotus sister who made her life a living hell. She was a little chubby as a child so her parents thought she was ugly and started abusing her. Only her grandfather and his friends thought she was cute and she was. As she goes through adolescent stage, her delicate features started showing. Due to their treatment, Payton and Tommy always picked on her, plus she was always unreasonably punished for their mistakes. No matter what she said, they didn't believe her and it got worse when Tommy pushed her down the stairs when she was 7 and ended up in a coma for two weeks with two broken ribs. Her doctor had involved social services when he noticed the scars and marks all over her body and the fact that no one in her family came to check up on her. Her parents were questioned and arrested for child abuse but they bribed their way out of it. Tommy was never punished nor have they ever visited her during her stay in the hospital. Her grandfather gained custody of her from them after he learned what happened to me from Dr Simpson. He was half way across the country when that happened and those two managed to keep that incident under wrap to protect their son. He gained custody of her and officially disowned them after getting custody of her granddaughter. Her father was furious from being cut off by the old man and he showed it. Tommy was left out of his Will since her parents were refusing to hold him accountable for what he had done. The old man simply closed all the financial support he had initially provided and told them that they are grown up and already know how to make their own decisions so he would leave them alone. But, they will all be removed from the family's genealogy books. Expelled from his part of the family. Her parents being their arrogant selfs didn't even take it seriously and went through the process of family separation from the Jones clan thinking they were getting half of the family inheritance along with the other relatives who supported them but they were wrong. The whole clan including relatives also came to do the separation of property after Uncle Lincoln and uncle Sam started fighting for property and not to mention her father being cut off added up his debts so they came to an agreement to go their separate ways. The family lawyer crushed their dreams when she told them that the trust fund that my great-grandfathers left behind was only to support/cover the education of all the offsprings of the Jonas family. Everything else came from the family logistics company managed by my uncle finn and they all had shares which some off them sold. My grandfather was the one funding all their dreams but they all forgot about it. The clan only has a 100 million in which will be divided between all clansmen including their grandkids and their current children legitimate or illegitimate. That also includes their estranged siblings including Lira and her other cousins who also didn't have it easier than her. Her grand uncle Keith who was the current head of the clan had known that her grandfather didn't want to be involved in the clans dispute or their matter so could only agree to the separation and it was only now he knew that my grandfather will never help these ungrateful relatives again after he had seen how they stood by his arrogant son after all he had done including how some of his nieces and nephews were spoiled brats about the money that wasn't even theirs , he had washed his hands clean of them. The foundation will continue to fund everyone with their education including future generations no matter which school or career they want to perdue until thirty years from now on. The remaining 100 million in the clan bank account will be divided into the current generation members equally which are only 32 members including children. Each person will receive 3,125,000 after dividing it amongst all of you. The children under age will receive their share when they turn 18 on their own without guardians but will receive a monthly allowance from the education fund as everyone else did during their schooling days of 5000 dollars per month . I have to emphasise that after the separation is concluded no new born kids will receive the separation money because you will all be separated but they will have excess to the education funded and the monthly allowance which will be held by their guardians until they get to high school, there after will be managed by themselves. Clan Head will receive the ancestral mansion and the ancestral land. Elder Thomas will get the mansion and 40acres of land in London. The two remaining mansion around city A will go to Mr Lincoln and Mr Eric Johnson as they are the eldest sons of the clan head and Elder Mr Thomas. The remaining siblings will get the villas around city A. The relatives will each get 10 acres of land in the village where the late patriarch grew up. The grandkids from the main family will get each 25 acres of land around A and B city and the grand kids of Elder Thomas will get each 20acres of land around city A and city D. The late patriarch had predicted the separation three years ago before he died which was why only half of his will was read and the other after the requirements are met. The recipients of the second half are Mackenzie, Mason , finn and Lira. He had half of his money during the 1st part of the will which was 10 billion dollars , 6 billion was donated towards the education fund, 2 and half was divided between Head elder Keith and Elder Thomas. 1 billion was shared between his grand children Lincoln,Eric, Sam, Timothy, Finn and Kane. The remaining 500 million was shared between their relatives three years ago. The remaining half was for the great grandkids. Mr Elliott Jones left the instructions for the second half of his will testament to be read as follows. [ If you are reading this at the moment means that you guys decided to separate and knowing my eldest son, he will only agree to it if Thomas has no problem with it. The clansmen before me were all intelligent people who were focused on getting proper education in different fields while helping each other in different ways. My father ruined all that as he focused on profits rather than family values that my grandfather instilled in me. I tried to teach keith and thomas this when they were young but my wife managed to undo it while I was busy building the jones company and it was too late when I noticed how lazy and ignorant they both were . Thomas although still lazy managed to build his empire but neglected his sons which resulted in both of them becoming spoiled and scheming. keith was too timid and always listened to his self entitled wife whom I still can't stand even to this day. The rules of the clan states that eldest children of the patriarch will become the clan leader regardless of age . After I retired , I handed my company to Keith but he almost led it to bankruptcy but was saved by Thomas who still refuses to get involved in our family business after the death of his second son and daughter in law who died during childbirth when she gave birth to Lira prematurely due to the accident that killed Timothy. I had asked Eric to take responsibility of Lira but I didn't think he would neglect such a gifted child. The same goes for Lincoln who loved one kid more than the other and Sam who gave birth to the first born daughter in our family in ages but forgot about the younger one ( Mackenzie)who was bright and cheerful and focusing on the the scheming one. The second Will will be read after Kane follows his heart and adopt Mackenzie , I know he and his wife always wanted a child but couldn't have one. They both love and feel sorry for the little girl so they will do the right thing since I'm not there to protect her. Thomas was grieving when I gave custody of Lira to Eric and Quinn so I'm sure by now he realized how uncaring Eric is and got her back from them. I noticed Tommy has behavioral issues and payton's temper is a little manic at times so the little genius girl won't be have a great time from them. Mason and Finn are both man so they can take care of themselves and although neglected were doing mostly fine compared to the other two because of their greedy parents. I here by announce the will as follows : Maria , payton and Tommy will get 500 million each when they turn 21. Jason will get 1 billion, 500 when he turns 25 and 500 when he gets married. Finn will also get 500 million when he turns 21 and another 500 million when he graduates from a top university. Mason will get 1.5 billion when he turns 21. Mackenzie will get 1 billion when she turns 21 and another 1 billion when she gets married. Lira will get 1 billion when turns 18 , 2 billion when she graduates from a top university and 1 billion when she gets married. Lincoln, Sam and Eric will not be allowed Access to the children's inheritance nor will their guardians. They will not interfere in the children's lives especially Mason , Mackenzie and Lira's lives including arranging marriages, interfering in their educations or scheming against them. Should they do so means they forfeit all their inheritance which will be returned to the Jones family educational fund and that includes their wives or anyone who tries to. Lincoln will be the next Jones clan Head and will have to follow all the rules including interfering in the Education fund which will result in expulsion from the family and demotion. It is up to him if he wants to continue the family line but since they are separated, no one will be obligated to help him. Everyone will have their own family. The branches will be separated. The Jones educational fund is managed by a private firm and notorized by the high court meaning the Jones offsprings will get their dues from pre school and however many degrees they decide to get. Mason , Finn , Mackenzie and Lira will have a right to make changes to the education fund should a problem arise from it but will never interfer in its rules that specify that all the offsprings from only our clan will benefit from. A blood test will be required from 6 different institutes which will remain a secret except from The four kids I've chosen as the new decision makers everytime a child is born in the and they will all get the results as well as the parents with or without getting married. All four of them will be in charge until they pass on, it only go to remaining member to make decisions on the future of their next generation and so forth. Everyone was lost in their thoughts including me. I was not surprised by my parentage since I had already guessed it when I was hospitalized a month ago when they didn't show up and when I needed a blood donation. Maria , Uncle Lincoln, Uncle Finn and Uncle Sam were looking at me with greed in their eyes whilst my dad or should i say uncle Eric was looking at me with resentment and regret. Everyone signed the separation agreement because of the huge lands they will receive across the country. They were really angry about the amount of money left since they won't be able to get any more money from the clan unless the plan to further their education. The clan head received many resentful eyes because of how he managed waste so much money as the head. Everyone will be on their own from now on. They all have 2 % shares to my great grandfather's company. Although some sold it towards my uncles and some sold it towards the trust fund at the market price which is 50 million for 2%. My uncle Eric had a lavish lifestyle because of me so I'm sure that with the money they received from my great grampa, the yearly 2 million from my "father's" trust fund that he set up for my caregivers should anything happen to him or my "mom" until i turn 18 plus the money my grandpa Thomas sent them for my sake will all be gone. Because of my love for mathematics and science, I was sent to the best schools there is. For some reason Tommy always followed after me. Thank god for his average grades that I managed to skip a few grades until I managed to got into freshman year at Raven Academy. The number one high school in the whole country but i guess I made the wrong calculation because of payton. The girl I swear has multiple personality disorder along with my former neighbor who is payton's crush matthew. The guy I hate the most in the entire universe but at least I will have finn and Mason to keep me company. I was surprised when I found out that sarah , matthew's little sister was my dorm mate including symphony whom I competed with before at a science fare. I know it must be my grandfather's doing. We also have another room mate but she hasn't arrived yet. I guess I'll have to tough it out for the next three years.
