Betty POV It was painful sitting there listening to the men, arguing over things I saw as irrelevant, we needed action, the town needed help, those sick needed healing and those men needed liberating. But those two members of the council are talking in circles and none are willing to commit a decent idea to the discussion. When I mentioned the town and what I thought could be happening in that poor town, they all turned and stared at me. I was not sure if it was because I was forgotten in the room, or that my idea made some sort of sense, or that I had spoken at all. But it took everything in me not to growl at them all, that would surely give away what I was. ‘That could be a place to start. Let us send food and a group of shifters to guard them.
