Chapter 7: Why is he so good looking?! (1) *** The next day, Evan headed out with his make-up concealed identity and waited outside for the car of the man he was going to be on a date with, to arrive… “Hey Eve… do you think I’ll pass off as you” Evan turned to his sister who was dressed like him, he spoke more quietly than before just in case their parents decided to come as well. “Yeah man… no worries…” Evelyn smiled as she looked at her brother. “Though I gotta say… My dress suits you perfectly.” She remarked as she looked at her brother. Evan was dressed in a beige colored dress that was fit forming at the waist and the skirt was looser to hide anything obvious the man might have between his legs, he was also wearing shorts just in case wind blew and his skirt was raised, though it was something sis sister also did anyways. Coupled with the carefully crafted make-up look, and the various accessories, the look was completed. “Thanks for the complement but I don’t really need it… Damn when’s this guy arriving? Is he going to be late on the first date?” Evan asked as he looked around, it wasn’t that he was actually excited to be on a date like that but in that dress and the low temperature that it was in that spring evening, he felt like his legs were freezing. “Calm down, and you’re the one that wanted to stand out here in the cold waiting for him… We could just walk back inside and-” Evelyn was interrupted before she could finish her sentence. “No… if he’s late it gives me even more reason to dump him and be overall angry with him. The fact I’ve been staying outside like this will make mom and dad think I’m excited and then I’ll have a reason to be disappointed when he finally does come here.” Evan explained, if nothing else the man was good at reading people and in a very low-key manner manipulate to a certain extent, of course never in a malicious manner, he never was the type of man to do that. “You should reject him nicely.” Evelyn said as she crossed her hands and stood with her legs separated, trying to look manlier. “But that way mom and dad might try to pair you up with him again, it’s better if I find reasons to be annoyed with him then you could tell them what a horrible guy he is and they might even leave you alone after that.” Evan said with a confident yet gentle voice which once more was more high pitched than the one he usually used but not enough to make it sounds unnatural. “You’re right… Go ahead and do that.” Evelyn said as if a light bulb had just went off in her head. “Honestly I wonder why I didn’t think of that myself…” She remarked in passing. “Thanks… Still do you think he’s going to bail? It’s already been 10 minutes past the time he was supposed to be here. I usually wouldn’t mind it if he was a friend but making your date wait is simply rude.” Evan said as he also crossed his hands as if he was upset at the person who was yet to arrive. “Hopefully not, otherwise they’ll just choose another date-” Evelyn stopped midway through the sentence as her brother noticed something. “Hey, isn’t that car headed this way? Could it be him?” Evan asked as he turned back to his sister who looked shocked to say the least. Evelyn’s eyes widened as she laid them on the car and nearly in a gasp spoke: “No way… that’s a Jaguar XF, with a 2.0L lngwnium petrol engine that’s capable of generating either 200Ps/320Nm or 250Ps/365Nm!” She spoke fast and didn’t even try taking breaths in between sentences. “Is that… cool or something?” Evan asked with a very confused expression on his face, he didn’t understand a single word that came out of his tech crazy sister. “A luxury car like that starts at around 50k… When mom and dad said he was rich, I didn’t think they really meant it.” Evelyn said as she felt her brother tapping her on the shoulder. “Well with that much spare cash, I hope he’s at least going to get me a nice dinner, you go back inside quickly before we get caught.” Evan said as revealing the fact they were twins would instantly make anyone wonder. “Alright, good luck!” Evelyn said as she turned her back and headed inside, using a deeper voice than she usually did, still not breaking character. “As if I need it…” Evan said in a confident way as he fixed his dress which felt like it had somehow moved up… The car parked right outside on the street and the man that opened the door and exited the vehicle looked to be only a year or two older than Evan. The man had a very mature look, he was tall with very dark brown hair, a clean shaven face and features as if he had been a hand drawn painting. His body looked well trained and the suit he was wearing was definitely made specifically to fit him. “I’m so sorry for making you wait so long for me…” The man approached with an apologetic look on his face, he extended his hand to greet his date. “I’m Derek An’tone” He said in a deep resounding voice. “H-hello…” Evan said as he was taken aback after seeing the man. ‘Mom and dad weren’t joking when they said he was handsome… if I were a 13 year old girl I’d probably have a poster of this guy hanging on my wall somewhere…’ He thought to himself. “You’re Evelyn, right?” Derek asked as he continued holding out his outstretched hand, the other person didn’t seem to be accepting the hand shake…
