It has been an amazing two weeks. Dante has kept me on my toes and I like it.
He would try to steal a kiss or two any chance he could get. He would come Into my office and once he made sure that no one was near by, he would reach for me.
I was getting used to us making out, I still feared that someone would catch us.
Tammy was already suspicious. She says it's fishy that Dante and I went missing at the same time. She says she is shipping for us. I still didn't tell her anything.
The only people who know about it are Kate, Hayden and my therapist. I don't know if I can say we are dating but, we have something going on.
I was sitting in my office, working on so,e reports when the door to my office opened.
"Hey baby"
"Hey" I said and giggled slightly as he pulled me towards him.
"Stop. Someone will see us."
"No one will see us. Now stop making it difficult and kiss me"
He leaned down and kissed me. We were so caught up that we didn't hear the door open. We heard someone clear their throat and we broke apart.
"Pretty dangerous to make out in the office."
It was his friends Tony and Mike. And it was Tony who had spoke, both had smiles on their faces.
I blushed extremely yet, all Dante said to his friends was 'shut up'.
He led them into his office and told me that I could go for lunch. I meeting Kate for lunch across the street.
I walked into the little cafe and immediately noticed her sitting by the window booth. She got up and gave me a hug as soon as I reached the table.
"Hey girlie. It feels like I haven't really seen you these past weeks"
I felt guilty for abandoning her.
"I'm so sorry Kate. I didn't mean to ignore you."
She gave a small laugh. "Oh, don't be silly. I'm happy that you found someone who cares and might even be in love with you. You are my best friend and will say things like this but, that doesn't mean I'm mad at you. "
"I thought you were mad at me."
"Not at all hun. Let's order."
We ordered and sat down as we made some talk.
"So how's it going with that hunk of yours?"
"Kate!"
"What? He is hot. So have you done it?"
"Kate, you can't ask me that."
"Of course, I can." She smiled then turned serious. "Lee, I know you have kept your v card. One day, when you are ready it will happen. When that day comes, let it be a decision you are ready for and not pressured into. Do your research, ask questions. I'm here to help whenever I can. I can set an appointment with my obgyn, you can ask a professional. They can help explain what you don't understand."
"I don't think I need one."
"Every woman needs one. Not only because of s****l questions but, to understand your body better. Let me give you his contact."
I got the card and put it in my purse. We continued our lunch and caught up. Once lunch was done, I went back to work.
I had just sat down when the door opened.
"I'm sorry about my friends."
"It's okay. We have to stop making out at work."
That's going to be gardbto do but, I know one way we can spend more time together. Can you come and spend a night away, so I can hold onto to you."
"Let me think about it. Can I please go home early today.?"
"Is everything okay?"
"Ya, I just need to help Kate with some things."
I hoped that my lie was believable. He kept looking at me then, he just agreed. He went back to his office. I quickly went back to working so that I could knock off.
I packed my things and left. I decided to check out the doctor that Kate said I should see.
I walked in and approached the reception desk.
"Good afternoon ma'am. Welcome to the clinic. How may we be of help?"
I showed her the card. "I'm here to see this doctor."
She looked at it then handed it back to me.
"Let me check if she is available. Please have a sit and I will call out your name when it is your turn."
I thanked her and went to sit down. I picked up a magazine and started browsing. It was one about getting tested for STIs and STDs. After about 20 minutes, my name was called.
I was directed to an office, there was a petite lady with glasses sitting at the desk. She got up.
"You must be Lisa. I'm doctor Lucy. Please have a sit." I shook her hand and sat down. "how may I be of help?"
"I came for a check up and I have some questions."
She smiled at me. "Let's start with answering the questions you have and then we can do the check up."
"I'm a virgin and Kate things I need to understand my body." I was blushing. This was so humiliating talking about this. She had a smile on her face.
"Firstly, it's nothing to feel shy about. Kate is right. Are you seeing someone?"
I nodded yes and she continued. "Okay, that's okay. I assume that you might be planning on being intimate with your partner. You need to make a decision if you want to use protection or not. You then need to decide what type of protection you want to use."
She explained further on the issue. I asked all the questions I could and she answered them in detail. She ordered some tests for diseases just so I was sure. I was then examined.
"So I will call you when all the results are out. You look health and everything seems fine. I will write you a prescription for some contraceptives. For a safer choice, use condoms."
I said bye and left to go home.
