IMPERFECTLY ENOUGH

the first

Things have been going surprisingly good. Though I can't help feel like it's the calm before the storm.

Anna and I have been hanging out as often as we can. She's in college now and told me she decided to move out of her parents house. Of course her mother was not happy about it.

I was returning to my office from the board room,where Dante had a meeting with some foreign investors.

Dante had stayed behind while I left to go and type the minutes from the meeting and file them.

I just opened the door when I was shocked to see who was in my office.

"Hello Lisa."

It was Anna's mother.

"Hello" I knew deep down that nothing good could come from this woman visiting me.

I walked towards my chair and sat down.

"I want you to stay away from my daughter. I knew from the beginning that you were nothing but trouble. And now my daughter has turned against me."

I have no idea what I did to this woman but, I felt angry. I was so mad that all my life I have paying for things that I knew nothing about. But, I couldn't find my voice.

"You are as evil as your mother and I don't want that to be near my family. You are terrible and good for nothing like your w***e of a mother."

"Get out." I heard a hoarse voice say. I lifted my eyes to the door and saw Dante standing there. He was so mad and was looking at my stepmother.

I looked at her and saw fear on her face.

"Ummm Mr Cruz."

He raised his hand to shut her up.

"I said get out!"

She got up in a hurry, he grabbed her hand.

"If I ever see you anywhere near her, I will make you regret it."

I could take my eyes off him, at some point I couldn't see him because my eyes were glassy.

He rushed towards me and kneed down. " Baby, hey. I'm sorry about her. Don't believe whatever she said."

I broke down. He felt him pull me up and hug me. After a few minutes I felt him lift me, bridal style. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

I knew he walked into his office. He locked the door and a few seconds later, I felt him sit down with me on his lap.

" Cancel the rest of my appointments today. And don't disturb, miss Brown and I have a video conference."

I was greatful and it made me cry harder. No one had ever stood up for me. Despite being thankful to my best friends coming to my rescue, they never confronted anyone. This was the first time someone did that for me.

He kept rubbing my back and kissing my head. I felt so at home in his arms.

" Can you come home with me?"

I kept quite.

"Please come home with me. I will worry about you but, I will be at ease when I can hold you."

I nodded my head yes. I pulled away and tried to stand but he stopped me.

"Please just sit. I like the feel of you close to me."

So I just sat there.

" I need to go home to pick up some clothes."

"Okay. We can pass by before going to my place"

When we got to his place,I went to unpack. He insisted I sleep in his bed with him. Which had been doing alot these last few times I came here. He was in the kitchen dishing out our dinner which we picked up on our way here.

I had texted Kate to pack my bag as we left work. I was putting the clothes I was going to wear tomorrow when I picked up the next clothing item.

Oh.my.gosh. I will kill Kate.

I held up the item. It was a black see through body suit. Attached to it was a note:

Wear this teddy to seduce that hank of yours. Love, Kate.

I couldn't believe her. I held it up again. How the hell was I suppose to wear this. I mean how does someone put this on.

The door opened and I tried to hide the teddy.

"What are you hiding?" He said with a smile on his face.

I tried to hide it again. "N-nothing"

He moved closer, " that didn't look like nothing."

I was really trying to hide it, when he reached for it from behind me.

I tried to reach for the clothing but he was too tall.

"So are you going to model this for me?" He said while smiling and raising his eyebrows up and down.

"Never." I walked out of the room. I was so embarrassed, how could Kate do this to me.

Dante had a smile the whole time and I tried to ignore him.

He was already in bed when I came out of the bathroom. I will definitely kill Kate, she didn't even pack my pajamas.

Since he was in bed, I didn't know how I was going to take off my gown.

"Why are you just standing there? Get into bed."

"C-can you close your eyes?"

"Why?" He said laughing.

"Okay" he said alot of debating.

When I saw his eyes closed, I rushed into bed. I told him to open them.

"Why are you covered to your chin? And can you move closer?"

I kept shaking my head no. He was analyzing me. Before I could protest, he ripped the blanket. His eyes were looking at me and he had a funny look on his face.

It felt like he was undressing me. I sat up to pull the blanket, he stopped me and moved closer.

He reached closer and kissed me. It took me sometime, eventually I responded. I moved my hand into his hair.

I felt him push me gently onto the bed, he leaned over and continued kissing me.

He moved on top of me, he left my lips and started to kiss my neck. He was gently biting and kissing my neck.

He leaned on his elbows and looked into my eyes, like he was asking for permission.

I pulled him down and kissed him. His hands moved mine to the top of his head. They started sliding to them towards my legs. He pulled my legs apart and rested in-between them. I moaned when I felt his d**k pressing into me.
