So I had a date. Yay!
Well, a date was a serious exaggeration but the important thing was that hopefully, my search was over. And the good part, Dev said he was on the Venix's list too which meant we could continue our affair there.
His name was Noel and I specifically asked her to find someone ordinary. He was Delta but she said he was an introvert and not very popular.
Tonight we were going to meet and see what'll happen.
It was so much easier with humans.
But first I had to take Myra to her first signed job. She would work in the training center, which was located right next to the headquarters. Behind the office building was the arena where the main training took place. She would be an administrator there. I was glad that I was able to find that job, as usually, the new members learned the last of the good positions. Overall, I was a pretty good help agent.
We passed the old group of trainees who were currently on a break and I nodded to Emmet. He nodded back with a frown on his face which made me chuckle. He hated being there so much, he had even told me he was considering leaving the pack.
We entered the office building and a pack member showed us Myra's desk, which was right next to the window. As they talked about work, I looked absently out the window and my eyes fixed on the view. Gideon was training with his warriors. He was naked to the waist, his body glistening with sweat. He was in wonderful shape - his six-pack abs were the evidence. His body looked exactly as I liked it. Not too huge but still big. His wide broad shoulders were narrowing into the waist. Just the perfect male body. I was very much turned on just from the view of him and when Gigi suggested showing us the place where they rest outside, I followed them like in a trance.
Already outside, they sat down and continued talking, and I just stood up, staring at Alpha. I didn't even notice when he turned and stared back at me. My eyes were drinking his naked torso shamelessly and only the push from Gigi managed to save me from further embarrassment.
I looked at her absently, with eyes still clouded with desire and then I glanced once more at him. His eyes were mirrors of mine.
It wasn't the first time I felt very attracted to someone, but that now was unbelievable. Everything in him attracted me. Even his hands looked sexy. And I felt that for a man who couldn't stand me and wanted me gone…you gotta be kidding me…
I turned around abruptly and stormed into the building.
The last thing I needed was this humiliation, to constantly show him how attracted I was to him. No doubt he will use it against me.

I suddenly got mad at my wolf.
Emery! Where is your strong will now? Where did your famous stubbornness fly?!
Don't blame me for not being able to control yourself. I don't raise my tail every time I'm around that Riven.
I didn't even know when I fled out of the building and rushed into the woods, where I left Emery to lead us.
We'd been running for no more than ten minutes when we heard someone behind us and Emery stopped and turned around. It was Riven who was coming toward us and now that he saw we stopped, his pace slowed down and then he stood so close that his snout almost touched Emery's which made her back up a little. Riven moved forward immediately and she growled angrily, showing off her canines.
Instead of becoming aggressive and showing dominance, Riven continued to stare at us calmly. Then he tried to get closer again, making a low sound and trying to bring his snout closer to Emery's. She pulled away again and I took my human form.
"Turn!"
Staring at him with a look of madness and anger, I quickly began to slip on my clothes. He turned into human form but didn't bother to get dressed. On the contrary, threw away his clothes.
I watched the pile on the ground and my eyes widened as I looked at him again, this time with a little anxiety.
"What was that about? Put your clothes on!"
He raised his eyebrows, looking at me derisory.
"Are you the Alpha now? Should I submit?"
"I am Alpha!"
"Oh, come on, Ivy!"
"What happened to your rule? What was it, 'nobody can walk around naked, except..." I shut my mouth when I remembered he considered himself the exception and he grinned.
But his eyes weren't laughing. They were burning with desire.
"What do you want, Alpha?"
He stopped grinning, just kept looking into my eyes.
"Just what you're ready and wanting to give."
I gasped in amazement at his impudence.
"I have nothing to give to you."
"Oh, really? I should have misunderstood you in the office lobby, or ten minutes ago in front of the training center. Or every f*****g time I come across to you."
I blushed, knowing he was right. I wasn't very subtle. But why should a grown-ass woman be subtle about something so natural?
Because he's our enemy.
I rolled my eyes at Emery's line and Gideon frowned in surprise.
"Who are you rolling your eyes at? I haven't said a word more."
I looked at him awkwardly, but only a second later I was angry again.
"As I said, we have nothing to give you."
The fire in his eyes intensified.
"Not forgetting about my wolf's needs is damn sexy."
I felt the desire overwhelm me again, and I desperately begged him.
"Please, Gideon. Think how complicated it would be. Just leave already."
His voice went so quiet, I could barely hear him.
"I can't. I want you so bad..." His hand went down, but my gaze didn't dare follow. I stood there, breathing hard and barely restraining myself from approaching him.
But suddenly the look in his eyes changed and I was sure he was mind-linked by someone. After a few seconds, he looked at me and the desire was partially gone.
"I give you one day. No. I will give you one night. Just tonight."
"For what?"
"Convincing yourself we're not going to do anything wrong."
"But ..."
"One night, Ivy!" And he turned in his wolf form and took off.
