Apparently, the Tessa incident cost me my relationship with Pears, because since it happened, he hasn't stopped looking at me angrily and being rude.

During training, he set me up against the more muscular females, who, I must admit, beat me good. Not that I gave up, but being with Alpha blood didn't help me much when I was fighting in my human form. In fact, my physique was also starting to change for the better. As a werewolf, I've always been in good shape but human fitness wasn't enough to maintain a good werewolf shape. So all the females here were stronger than me. Except for Tanya but we all knew why. However, since I've been here, there has been a change and I have started to get stronger.

The other problem was that Pears was our coach and everyone wanted to be liked by him, especially since they were new members and wanted to build strong relationships with important members of the pack. He also looked good, and if you didn't fall into his list of enemies, he would charm you with his jokes and smile.

And I was nobody. That was what I wanted from Gideon and Loren and that was what I received. I wouldn't tell her what everyone's attitude was towards me because I didn't want to look like someone who took advantage of her friendships. The only one who continued to be friendly was Emmet, which made him the other target of our trainers.

Today was no different. Pears began his introductory speech as he did every morning, smiling and joking with everyone without even registering my presence. I guess it was normal to support Tessa, given that they were colleagues and friends, but still...I couldn't believe that only a few days ago I considered him a friend.

"Also I want to tell you, guys, that Tanya is feeling better but she still can't take part in the training, so today Marla is her deputy. Everyone, meet Marla. She came here a couple of days before and now she's signed to your group with the special approval of Alpha. She was a warrior in her former pack and with a little luck, maybe she'll be part of our pack army too." His friendly smile faded, and even his eyes changed as he looked in my direction and continued. "Since she's Tanya's deputy, she'll be your partner, Ivi." I looked from him to her and she crossed her arms in front of her chest with a content smile.

Ok. Someone's been turned against me. The thing was that Pears don't do partners. He would always choose different opponents for every training session. But I guess they chose Marla especially for me and he knew Tessa had put me with Tanya.

Oh, well. I won't give them the satisfaction of seeing me worried, scared, or even angry. I was Alpha. And I would show them what that meant. Even If that female beat me to death, I won't show fear in front of them.

He signaled that the training was beginning and everyone moved against their opponent. Marla stood in her place, watching me mockingly as I approached her. She was big - tall and big, with well-developed muscles. Beaten to death was a very good guess at what could happen. "Psst, don't go, Ivy!" I turned to Emmet and smiled soothingly over my shoulder. "Ivy! Please!"

I continue toward Marla, and the rage I felt when I saw her still grinning at me quickened my pace. I stood a meter in front of her and only seconds later the second signal of Pears sounded, signaling that it was time for us to start. We kept standing in our places just watching each other. She watched me with calm expectance in her eyes while I was looking at her with anger.

Finally, she looked for a second in Pears and started to move towards me. I tried to punch her in the face, but she took my hand. She reached out with her other hand, and this time I grabbed her fist. We were standing in an iron grip for a few seconds as she pulled both hands away and kicked me hard in the abdomen. I bent over from the pain and she caught my hair with her left hand and strike me in the face with her right fist. My nose started to bleed and she kept striking in different directions while I was trying to release myself. I punched her between the legs and for a moment I managed to stop the rain of hits and now I managed to hit her in the face. But my supremacy was short-lived, and she prevailed again, even knocking me to the ground, kicking me hard in the ribs. She grabbed my hair and lifted me enough to apply a few more hooks. I started to lose consciousness and then for a millisecond I felt her mouth on my ear and I knew exactly what she was going to do. That was the moment I stop giving a s**t about what would happen and let Emery overtake me.

I pushed her away from me and rolled wildly on top, feeling Emery's nails half out, my eyes took on the color of hers. Marla started screaming because the wounds that my wolf's nails and canines left on her could not be compared in depth with the ones she had inflicted on me. Pears had turned in his wolf form and bit my leg, pulling me away from Marla, at the same time mind-linking me.

Ivi, stop. Back up immediately. It's an order.

I moved to a safe distance and took control of Emery. In just seconds I was in fully human form, breathing heavily and watching them angrily. Pears turned in his human form and standing in front of the bleeding Marla, he started to shout.

"What was that?! Don't you know is forbidden to fight in semi-wolf form with someone who is in his human form?! What would have happened if she had done the same?"

"She would have been dead."

He looked at me with wide eyes, unable to believe his ears.

"If I tell Alpha about what happened just now, you'd be dead in no time."

"Then go and tell him." But he kept staring at me with fury. "Go. Why are you still here?"

"You ugly b***h! Who do you think you are?"

I looked at Marla, who was still bleeding on the ground, and then I moved toward Pears.

"I'm Alpha Ivi, from the Darkmoon pack. If I want, I can kill you both, Pears. Is that what you want? Don't pick on me because you don't stand a chance in a fair fight against me."

I tried to calm down a little, my wounds almost healed. And I looked him in the eyes again. "I'm sorry about what happened to Tessa. But she got what she wanted as Alpha said. I don't need anyone to protect me. As you can see my wolf and I are doing a great job doing it. Thanks for the training."

I turned around and stormed toward the pack house. My blood was boiling and although I acted so bravely and challenging I was scared shitless. What I've done was really forbidden and I can lose the chance of staying in the pack or even my life. In fact, what I was saying, Gideon wouldn't keep me here after what I did!

I didn't pay attention to the looks of the pack members, I knew I had dried blood on me and I quickly went inside and up to my room. Yesterday I exchanged the house for Myra's bed. There was another bed in the room, but for now, I was alone. And thank Goddess for that.

I took a shower and lay on the bed. Ok, biting off Tessa's ear wasn't my most worthy act but Amery was uncontrollable at times. And I think I knew why. Every time my heat period comes, she will become hard to control. Those times were the only ones when I hardly kept her within me among the humans. I would feel the urge to turn in different places like the mall or a cafe. And given that I rarely turned and I even had concerns If I would feel her due to the rare turns, her energy before and during the heat scared me numerous times.

And Tessa was overly aggressive. She acted too viciously, what could they expect from Emery?! I felt a tear flowing down my face. Damn it. I lost my chance to stay. I gave Gideon the perfect excuse to get rid of me.
