Chapter : Nine

Hugo's POV

I was beginning to get more nervous with her taking so long to answer me, and I was dying to tell her to give me an answer to my question, but I didn't want to force her. I knew it was something she would have to process.

"Um…" Was all she could get out. Before I knew it, she stood up and walked closer to the lake. I guess it was a much harder thing to process for her.

"Iris" I quietly said as I stood behind her resting my hands on her hips, slowly turning her around to face me.

"I know it is a lot to take in, but I really want you to be with me, I want to be able to show you off to everyone, for everyone to know that you're mine, and I'm yours. If you would be willing to let me. I want to be able to treat you like the princess that you are." I paused when I began to see tears slowly beginning to fall from those beautiful eyes of hers.

"Hey, don't cry on me" I told her, pulling her into my chest, making sure she knew she was safe with me. She took a few moments and pulled back away from me to wipe her tears and finally looked up at me.

"I'm sorry, I'm ruining this date" She said, letting out a small smile.

"Hey, you're definitely not ruining it at all. It is a lot of process to be asked to move in with them and become a Luna, especially when you're not really born into that line," I told her, making sure that it was okay to let out her emotions and to feel safe with me. I could never judge her by that.

"Listen, you don't have to give me an answer right now, if you don't want to. But it would mean a lot if you could give me an answer really so-"

"Yes" I was cut off by the sound of her voice replying to me.

"Really?" I quickly started getting excited by her agreeing to be my Luna and move into the pack house with me, and I ended up picking her up and spinning her around, only to earn the biggest laugh that got me almost weak to the knees.

"Oh baby" I said, putting her down and grabbing her face with my hands to kiss her. As soon as our lips connected, that was it. I really couldn't control myself. Something in me was forcing me to keep this going and wanting more. I wanted to mate with her, and although I didn't have a wolf, I could still sense that her wolf wanted the same as well.

I walked us back to the blanket never once breaking the kiss as I lowed us. I laid her down gently, deepening our kiss more. I couldn't hold back and ended up biting her lips gently, gaining a soft moan from her. I wanted her now. Desperately.

Keeping myself up, so I didn't squash her, I moved my kisses down her neck slowly making each one longer until I got to the right spot where, eventually, my mark would've been on her. As I kissed the right place, I gained multiple moans from her, with each moan down my ear I found it harder to control myself.

My hands began to have a mind of their own as they began to caress her beautiful body. I slowly pulled her dress up, my hands slowly moving up her legs and slowly began to rub her soft area. Her moans made me go even more crazy, the little control I had, had now fully gone, and I let my body do what it wanted. I kissed her ever so softly every part of her body that I could reach with her clothes still on. I moved my hands away and sat her up, beginning to strip her off. Slowly.

Between each bit of clothing that she had on, I kissed, taking them off her beautiful body. Once all the clothing was off her, I gazed at her beautiful body with lust and desire. I need her now.

Iris's POV

Even with clothes on, I wanted to mate with him straight away, and I knew I had to be careful because he is still human.

Everything in my body told me to stop him from taking my clothes off, and yet I was still here letting him take it all off. I couldn't even stop myself, and I just let him take everything off.

Every time he took clothes off my body, I felt more nervous. I had never been touched by another person before, let alone even seeing me naked. Well, other than Him, who I hated, I tried so hard not to hide my body away from him, but I wanted him just as much as he wanted me. I felt like I needed him, my body needed him, heck my soul and wolf needed him. I could tell he wanted the exact same as well.

My wolf was so close to taking complete control over my body and I had to try so hard to focus on not letting her as she would hurt him if I let her. Normally, if it were a wolf, it wouldn't hurt as badly, but for a human the pain would be indescribable.

"I love you, Iris", he softly said against my neck where I could feel his hot, shaky breath. Although I hadn't known him for ages, I could feel how intense the love was between us and I couldn't stop myself from saying it back to him.

"I love you too" I said, moving my lips to his neck, softly kissing him back, losing my focus. I had done what I didn't want to do until we were both ready and the ear-piercing scream echoed into the distance.

Hugo's POV

Just as Iris had said those words back to me, I had let out the loudest scream I didn't even know I could do. The pain that ran through my neck and body was unimaginable. It was the worst pain I had ever felt. My mate had marked me. I was beginning to feel so many different things all at once. My emotions, her emotions and the electricity and fire between us and our bond.

I had to push her away from how bad the pain was, even if it was making me feel bad for her. Through all the pain, I could see the look on her face and she looked terrified.

"Get your ass up Hugo". I told myself I had to make sure she was okay. Surely she was feeling things as well and feeling our bond a lot stronger now.

I had just about managed to get up and stumble towards her before nearly falling over again. I managed to grab her and wrap my arms around her, giving her the most protective hug I could ever give.

"You're mine, my Luna" I whispered into her ear softly, taking in her scent that was now a lot stronger than before.
