I woke up to the smell of pancakes. Stretching, I realized that I was no longer in the living room. I was lying on the bed beside Ashlee who was completely knocked out.
The room was large. The white walls contrasted with the black wood furniture beautifully.
I slowly stood to my feet and entered into the washroom, finding my bag. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail and washed my face with warm water after brushing my mouth.
I walked into the kitchen and leaned against the wall, watching Trent scramble eggs. He had his back to me. His hair was messy as usual. He changed his boxers to pajama pants which highlighted his amazing ass.
I sighed heavily knowing that I was going to get ignored the whole day. Last night I fell asleep in his arms and I knew it would be the first and last time.
"Good morning" He smiled. His green eyes meeting mine.
I took a struggled breath, looking down at my hands. s**t, got caught staring. Now he'll think I'm a stalker. Great.
My body stood still when I felt his fingers touch my chin, leaning my head back.
"The words you're looking for are good morning Trent"
His smirk was evident. His eyes pierced into mine. Green to mahogany. I swallowed the huge lump in my throat. My area suddenly becoming damp from his voice.
"Good morning Trent" I whispered biting my lip when finished. His eyes suddenly became dark, the gaze hard. My breathing was slow and shallow, my heart pounding. He was so close... my back against the wall... him as close as he can get without his body touching mine... his eyes searching my face... his fingers still on my chin...
Need took over my body and clouded my mind. I inched my head closer to his, never breaking eye contact. He didn't back away or move, he just watched me carefully. Slowing moving my head closer, I closed my eyes, bringing my lips to his, I pressed lightly. They were soft just like how I imagined. My head was spinning out of control just from limited contact. I pressed my lips to his once more, continuing to be gentle and reserved.
I rest my head back against the wall, trying to control my breathing. His eyes slowly opened. they were darker than usual. He seemed short of breath also but I wasn't sure.
The corner of his lips pulled up into a sexy smirk. Xavier entered into the kitchen and the slowly walked back out. We continued to stare into each others eyes for what seemed like eternity.
"Are you hungry?" he finally spoke. His voice was husky and sensual. He was still gazing into my eyes.
"Yes" Xavier whined from the living room "Can I come in now? are you guys descent?"
Trent sighed and then straightened up, towering over me again. I didn't realize he was bending. I stood frozen against the wall. Did we just kiss? His lips didn't even move... mine barely did... I didn't realize how wet I was until Xavier finally walked back into the kitchen and I straightened up.
Xavier smirked at me wiggling his eyebrows and I blushed.
I shared myself a few pancakes, egg, and sliced fruits and sat down at the table. I kept my eyes on plate in front of me. I was relieved when Ashlee finally join us.
"Nice bed head" Xavier commented.
"Thanks, I go for a natural look"
"I like that" He smiled, pulling her down onto his lap. She squealed like a teenage girl rather than an 18 year old.
I smiled at how happy she seemed. Then I turned back to Trent who got up from the table with his phone to his ears.

Ashlee and I sat down in the living room watching episodes of The Vampire Diaries. It was close to 5 in the afternoon and the guys went out.
"Damien is so hot" I said leaning deeper into the couch
"I hate him" Ashlee said back
I rolled my eyes at her and then smiled "I think Trent and I kissed this morning"
"You're joking! wait... you think?"
"Yeah, our lips touched"
"Seriously Leigh, sometimes I think you're white. You had those lips on you and you didn't suck them off?!?"
She was so serious that I burst out in laughter. I really do miss seeing her everyday.
"I'm happy you're here"
"I needed you remember? plus, I'm happy I'm here too. What would you do without me. It's clear you don't know how to handle that fine piece of ass on your own"
I shook my head at her "you should down-grade men like that" I giggled
"They do it to us all the time. It would be unjust if we didn't do it as well." she smile back sounding matter-of-factly
"Right" I laughed pulling her into a hug "Xavier really seems to like you"
She rolled her eyes "Men only want one thing"
"He's not like that, I can promise you"
"Don't swear for people, especially men. They tell you one thing and then they do another"
"It's not fair to judge men based on your father" I whispered not making eye contact
"Say what you want, but I know what I know"
I sighed heavily and rested my head on her shoulder. Only time will help her understand what I mean.
Around 6:30 ish, a knock came at the door.
"Did they forget their key" Ashlee murmured as she opened the door.
A busty tall blond women stood at the door. She was definitely in her mid-twenties. She had long legs and a beautiful face. When Ashlee opened the door she looked shocked but then she quickly smiled.
"Hi, is Trent home?"
Ashlee looked over at me with a 'why the hell would this women be looking for Trent' face and I shrugged.
"Sorry, he's not here" Ashlee responded politely "would you like to come in and wait for him?"
"No, No. I just came by to drop off dinner for him. Can you make sure he gets this? Tell him it's from Isabel"
"Yeah, no problem. Bye"
She closed the door and came back over to the living room, placing a pan of Lasagna on the living room table.
"White people and their pasta"
"What? I like pasta"
"You're just proving my point here Leigh."
"Mexican people and their peppers"
"I'm not Mexican"
"No but you look like you are"
"Shut up. That's racist"
I looked at her in disbelieve and I couldn't hold in my laugh any longer.
She went in the kitchen and brought out plates.
"Why are we eating something that's meant for Trent. What if it's poison?"
"It better be good poison. I'm hungry"
"You're always hungry"
She ignored me and shared a slice for herself and for me. It smelt good... but it tasted awful.
"Ew, what is in this?" Ashlee spat the contents in her mouth in a napkin "Trent couldn't find a girl with better cooking skills?"
I looked at her in shock. Then I realize that she was probably right... why would just anyone drop off food unless something was going on between them. She was his type and I wasn't. She was young and gorgeous. Why didn't I see this coming? f**k! and here I was, thinking about him, like a fool.
"It's a joke Leigh. I'm sure there's a reason for someone to drop off dinner for him... seriously, if this is how she cooks, I doubt it's anything serious."
I nodded my head and went back to watching the TV. I had no one to blame by myself.
When they finally got back, I made an effort to act completely dedicated to the TV, putting on my poker face.
"Isabel dropped by with pasta" Ashlee informed him
"Throw it in the garbage" Trent said sitting the couch.
I was leaning against the couch on the floor with Ashlee beside me.
"You don't want to try it first?" She pushed. Xavier sat down behind her and pulled her into his lap.
"You've clearly tried it. Isabel can't cook for s**t" Xavier told her.
He knew about this?!?! and he didn't tell me?? What the f**k! I could kick his ass. I took a deep breath and laid my head on my legs. Pauline from my business class came into my mind. She did warn me. I can't believe this. I want to go home!
"Leigh, you okay?" Xavier asked looking down at me
"She's probably missing her brother. I think we should head home right now" Ashlee stood to her feet, and pulled me to mine. I followed behind her into the bedroom avoiding eye contact.
She kept quiet as we got dressed and gathered our things. I really needed silence.
When they got to my driveway, I didn't wait for anyone, I muttered 'thanks' and walked into the house and straight to my room.
After a few minutes Ashlee joined me on my bed and cuddled with me.
