Although I had tried my best to make an apology to them, I couldn't tell if they believed me or not. A few hours later, the classes finally ended and I was left to walk home all alone. Spotting Leah and the rest of her girls standing in the hallway once again, I looked around to see if I could spot any of my mates. Seeing all four of them walk out together, a smile formed on my lips as I stared at them.

“ Leo, wait up! I need your help with an assignment. There are some things I don't understand. Do you mind?” I asked, feigning a smile once more as I looked at all four of them.

Seeing the surprised look on Dominic's face as he looks at Callum, I can see that they still don't buy my act. Nevertheless, I wrap my hands around Leo's dragging him away from his four friends. The last thing I needed was for them to put doubt in Leo's mind. Heading back to class, Leo and I sat down together, and although I told him that I needed his help with an assignment, I couldn't help but stare outside, checking if Leah was still around.

“ What's the problem you needed my help with?” Leo asked looking calm as he stared at me.

“ Oh. This. I didn't quite understand it. Can you help me explain?” I asked.

A few minutes later, Leo and I finally got rid of the tension between us and started chatting. Spotting Dominic hiding by the door, a smirk forms on my lips before I turn to Leo.

“ I need to head home now. Do you mind taking me home?” I asked standing to my feet as I stared at him.

“ Of course. Let's go.” Leo said quickly, getting to his feet, too.

The moment we walked out into the hallway, all eyes seemed to be on us. Smiling as we walked past most of the girls and boys, I could see the look of shock and confusion on their faces as they stared at us. I also wouldn't have believed it too. Glancing at Dominic, who was hiding in one of the classes, I decided to make him jealous and wrapped my arms around Leo's as we went outside.

“ Isn't that Leo? What is he doing with her?” A girl asked using her wolf's dominance as we walked by.

Staring at Leo, my eyes immediately go down and I can't help but feel dejected because of what she said. Her wolf's dominance hit my wolf making my wolf immediately go scared. Stopping in my tracks, I couldn't bear to move. Suddenly, Leo wrapped his arm around me pulling me close to him. I could feel his wolf comforting me as he rubbed his hand on my arm.

“ Let's go,” Leo said taking me to his car.

By the time we reached home, I was already asleep and felt bad for not making the most of my time with Leo. Getting out of the car, I thanked him shyly before turning around to go inside. Just as I was about to head towards my house, I gasped the moment I saw my father standing outside. Watching Leo leave in his car, I waited till he was gone before I headed to my father.

“ Dad, what are you doing here? I thought you were going hunting with the Alpha and elders?” I asked clenching my bag tightly as my eyes searched for my mother.

“ What are you doing with Leo? Why is it he that brought you back and not Dominic?” My father asked glaring at me.

“ Is it a bad thing for Leo to bring me home?” I asked walking past him as I headed inside.

Opening the door, I expected to see my mom sitting down on the couch or in the kitchen. However, the silent sound of the house immediately told me that my mom was not at home. Glancing at my watch, I closed my eyes disappointed. My mom wasn't going to be back anytime soon.

“Leo is Dominic's friend. Are you dating him?” My father asked making me stop in my tracks just as I was about to head up to my room.

I was on the verge of confessing my groundbreaking discovery about my mates to my dad, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Dominic was undeniably my mate but he wasn't the only one. Revealing this truth was bound to upset my father, and I was well aware of it. The pack's priest had described my situation as incredibly unique and rare, which only fueled my fear about sharing it with others. Without uttering a word, I retreated to my room, shut the door, and collapsed onto my bed.

A few hours later, I woke up all of a sudden sensing a very disturbing aura around me. Getting up from my bed, I headed to my window and looked down seeing a black wolf standing outside of my window. Its red eyes are staring at me intensely, making me confused. Even though I knew this wolf was rogue, I wasn't scared. Instead, I was drawn to it. Heading out of my room, I ran down the stairs opening the door to see if I could see the wolf.

“ Leo? Is that you?” I asked, trying to walk towards the wolf; however, its loud growl immediately stopped me in my tracks.

Without a single word, the black wolf turned around leaving before I could talk more to it. Its hasty leave suddenly left me feeling curious as I tried to guess who it was. A few days later, I couldn't stop thinking about the black wolf. Every night, I stared out my window and would see it lurking around my house. I was sure it was one of my four bullies because I felt a special connection with the wolf. However, the black wolf didn't seem to like me at all.

“ Valerie, are you okay? You're spacing out again.” Leo said bringing me out of my thoughts.

“ I'm sorry. I just haven't been sleeping well lately.” I said, running a hand through my hair as I smiled, placing a small kiss on Leo's mouth.

“ Are you sure it's because you haven't been able to sleep or because you are kept awake by your thoughts of deception?” Callum asked startling me.

“ What are you talking about? I'm just a lowly Omega. How can I dare to deceive you guys? You're my mate, Callum. Embrace it. All of us can have some fun times together.” I said reaching for my books as I stood up looking around the library.

The entire place was quiet as everyone continued to stare at me and Callum. Walking past him, I decided to head to the restroom quickly so I could get away from all of them. The fact that I had to constantly pretend in front of them and act like I liked them was frustrating. I wanted to expose them in front of everyone and destroy their reputation.

“ Are you happy? Do you feel like you're a hotshot now?” A voice asked making me glance up at the mirror.

Seeing Leah and her girls come out of the toilet stalls, I flinched immediately and knew that I was in trouble. Rushing to the door, I twisted the doorknob hard, trying to open it, but I couldn't. Seemed like I had fallen into their trap again.

“ Where do you think you're going, you slut?” Leah asked, grabbing a handful of my hair making me scream.
