Chapter 5 Being a personal shopper, Kyle wasn’t expected to do half the s**t the regular salespeople in the department store had to do on a daily basis. That was the reason why he received such a low monthly salary. However, his commission was nothing to scoff at. Nevertheless, the monthly total deposited into his bank account was barely enough to cover the insane living expenses in New York, and he would transfer some of his meager savings to his parents to help out whenever he could. His only saving grace was that the monthly rent and utilities on his crappy, tiny studio apartment were manageable. Regardless, he couldn’t wait for his shift to be over. He was thrilled about his date with Clement that evening, but he was even more excited at the thought of ditching all those crazy shoppe
