The shifter games arrived faster than Walter expected. All the training, all the anticipation, it all came down to this: a spray-painted white line in the forest behind AUDREY's bar. Walter grimaced as he spotted Raymond, who wore his cocky grin like he already had the winning medal around his neck. Closer to the bar's back door, Lola had set up makeshift bleacher seating of stacked hay bales magicked to stay in place, despite their towering height. It was quite an audience who came out to see this race, easily five times the normal number. It still amazed Walter that somebody as incredible as Katherine had chosen to be with him. He loved her with a fierceness he hadn't thought possible. It was all-co
