“s**t, s**t, no!” Walter’s yells echoed through the forest. Katherine tried to stifle a giggle as Walter climbed out of the small pit she had dug earlier that day. “Come on, Walter. Netting covered with leaves over a pit may actually be the oldest trick in the book.” She smiled despite her frustration. Walter wasn’t very good at avoiding tricks or traps, but somehow that endeared him to Katherine even more. Walter brushed himself off, more moving the dirt around his tight t-shirt and basketball shorts than actually removing it.
