Katherine lay back against the soft cushion with a happy sigh. “You were right, this place is gorgeous.” Walter’s eyes twinkled in the light of the Hawaiian sunset. The clouds haloed the Haleakala Mountain tinging the rocks and trees with an orange and pink glow. “When will you learn, I’m always right?” Katherine turned her head to lean against Walter’s chest. She was exhausted from the day’s work; getting the Maui Turtle back up and running was sweaty work. They lay together in one of the new beach beds they had set up for the visitors: flowing white curtains on all four sides for privacy, but they'd pulled the fabric back for the view.
