Jake unlocked the condo and spoke as he turned the doorknob. “I don’t understand why you just didn’t come back to the table. Abe and Kylie think you’re mad at them.”
“I’m not mad at them. It’s just crazy what he’s doing.”
Jake threw the keys on the counter by the door. “He’s not breaking any laws. They think they have a good plan. They’ve been to Colorado and talked with similar business owners. Because of that, they’ve got a couple of backers already lined up in the event that the get approval. They’ve been out to the property they’ve bought. It’s got great irrigation systems already in place and they’ve actually shown me on their phone their business model they’ve come up with so you just be more open-minded about it.”
