Archer remained calm in his place, staring at the man named Jack wang who ordered the auction house manager to move immediately. Currently, dozens of people surrounded Archer with weapons in the form of blocks, baseball bats, and daggers. They were ready in place and just needed to wait for the right moment to attack.
Arche looked at Demelza, who immediately made her body as Edith`s protector by placing it behind her body. Archer knew he could trust his sister`s safety to his subordinate. “Are those people already in their places?”
With her serious face and eyes that looked both sharp and alluring at the same time, Demelza nodded her head. “Yes, commander. As instructed.” She replied briefly and returned to staring straight ahead, preparing for any resistance that might come her way suddenly.
Aston Chew who was in the middle of Jack and William Lim laughed at Archer's reaction to asking Demelza about their people, he thought it was a funny drama. His laughter sounded dramatic in the quiet room, the echo of that laughter got Archer's attention, Demelza was aiming at him with a cold gaze ready to kill, except for Edith who was still with her fear and trauma. She was having a hard time behind Demelza's back, even though that back looked strong and tough.
“Stop being arrogant and trying to fool us. We all know that you are nothing. You even joined the military because of the urge to avenge your sins so what do you have to show us?” Aston asked aloud with a smirk and a haughty look at him.
Archer saw that face well, he looked at him expressionlessly, but the emotion in him made an unspoken promise to finish him just like he finished Darren Wu. “Something you will know after this.” He calmly replied.
Demelza, who got the information from the communication device that was still attached to her ear, then turned to Archer, they exchanged glances, and right at that moment, she signaled Archer with a nod.
Archer prepared a lot of things in the mission to pick up his sister as well as the attack mission he was going to carry out, he involved at least a considerable amount of effort to make those people get payback for the treatment his family received.
“Archer, long time no see why don't we just talk about this more calmly? There's no need to cause a scene.” William walked from his seat, and with large steps he moved down while stepping on the chairs there, like he was stepping on the stairs.
The three people who were still alive felt that they would be fine with the protection of the auction house's security, who were also not a joke, but they also contacted more people to guard from outside.
William then lowered his body with a smile, he who was quite far from the podium looked at Archer while seeing Edith with such a glance. “We still haven't done anything.” He acted scornfully at him, staring while moving his head and grinning like a demon.
“You did quite enough to die.” Archer returned the remark with a sharp gaze tone with a large and intimidating aura. Then he calmly fixed his eyes on the open main door of the place.
A man ran hurriedly and frantically over to Jack. “Sir, we have a problem. There are hundreds of heavily armed troops who have come to surround this place.”
Suddenly William who had been bent over squatting on a chair got up immediately and looked back in surprise. “What do you mean?!” He shouted out loud.
In their place, Archer and Demelza who heard the panic snorted smiles dismissively at them. To these two, hundreds of armed troops were nothing. Years on the battlefield with the choice of attacking or being attacked made them no longer nervous about the number of opponents they needed to face.
Numbers were not the only thing that mattered, it was tactics and determination as well as actual skill that would create the valid results.
“They're coming, and the numbers are increasing rapidly, sir, what should we do now? Should we move backward?” Their reporting subordinate looked full of fear.
“Are you crazy?” Jack shouted loudly at him. “Why are you asking? You should be looking for a way to get it over with and get us out of this place immediately. Is that all I need to tell you!” His high voice boomed in the room.
Anxiety and panic immediately took over the feelings of the three remaining members of the extended family, as well as the host and manager of the auction house. Concern was clearly displayed on their faces; secretly within themselves, they realized that the current situation was more than serious.
Aston sighed in exasperation, then he looked at their subordinates sharply. “Kill them, or do whatever will keep us safe. Do it immediately!” He snapped at him.
The subordinate then nodded his head. He nodded under pressure. “Yes, sir.” He turned around from there but had only taken a few steps when someone with a strong aura entered from the same door and shot him. The sound of the shot, as well as the appearance of the incident, made them, except Demelza and Archer, startled.
Jack, William, Aston, and the manager of the auction house were especially stunned. Their eyelids opened to the maximum, and their retinas widened. They were dumbfounded in place as the unknown person unhesitatingly shot like he was shooting a pest rat.
The person with the long barrel then approached Archer without hindrance from the other people in the auction house camp, he casually pointed his rifle at them without hesitation and took a shot while walking forward.
It was only after he arrived in front of Archer that he knelt down. “Commander, I've come to report that an army of 8000 men is standing guard in place and ready to await orders.” He obediently raised his respectfully bowed head to look at Archer.
That fantastic number made all those who opposed Archer in the room lose their courage, realizing that they would face their death immediately if they still opposed Archer. 8000 armed soldiers was a number that they could never imagine facing, that number was genuinely crazy and unreasonable just because of a trivial matter.
But for Archer, nothing was trivial when it came to his family, he would not hesitate to make orders to his subordinates. Archer's and his gaze met, at a glance, Archer moved the corners of his lips up without any change of expression in his eyes. “Order them to eliminate all those involved in this auction house, especially those three who are standing there waiting for their deaths.” He directed his gaze at Jack, William, and Aston who were staring at him with frantic looks.
