CHAPTER FOURTEEN Phaser’s last sentence was ominous, but I didn’t see how he could force us to go with him. He was just one guy. True, his powers were fairly useful, but I didn’t think he could capture us. The only reason Phaser’s threat could mean anything was if he was not actually alone.
