Evil mastermind interruption

“Hahaha, are you guys turn speechless because of this king splendour?”

The young man makes a circle to look at the audience, and then, before he could say anything else, Elrisa, who arrived on the stage, asked him a question.

“Who are you?”

Facing Elrisa, who just arrived, the young man eye’s light up as he looked at her with a hint of lust in his eye.

“Before that, why don’t you introduce yourself? Such a beauty like yourself, I think you’re worthy enough to become a member of my harem.”

“*sigh* My name is Elrisa, and I’m an A-rank hero.”

Hearing Elrisa introduced herself as a hero, the young man startled for a bit. However, it wasn’t for long as he continues to look at her again.

“My name is Richard, you can call me king R or one true king, up to you. Or you can even call me husband, honey, or even sweetie.”

Richard said that as he sent a wink at Elrisa.

“Dream on! I want to ask, why are you here?”

Hearing Elrisa question, Max and Giovanni realized that their match had been interrupted, and it seemed severe as Elrisa has stepped forward to face the intruder.

“Oh, I thought you wouldn’t ask about it. Yesterday I looked at the TV and found out that you guys are holding a competition to find out who is the best newcomer that has just debuted this year. I feel that something isn’t right since I am not included in this. How can you guys left this king out?”

Hearing such an unreasonable answer, Elrisa starts to think that Richard wasn’t right in the head.

“Well, the registration was open since a long time ago. If you want, you could register yourself and participate.”

Richard, however, shook his head and gave Elrisa another dazzling smile that showed his white teeth.

“How could I lower myself and compete with the peasant? That is why I come up today in the final. However, I am disappointed after seeing the display of the finalist. They are not even worth time to look at.”

As Richard said that, he looked at Max and Giovanni, and instantly they felt enraged also ashamed. It means that Richard just looks down on them. He was saying that they are not his match. They are about to jump at Richard, but they saw Elrisa raised her hand to stop them. Elrisa then pointed at the ring on Richard’s finger.

“Oh, I didn’t think that you could spot it from afar.”

Richard then shows the ring with the burning skull on it for everyone to see. Everyone realized that Richard is someone from the evil mastermind, and they are clearly shocked. Lately, the evil mastermind hasn’t made any big moves, and the world seemed to have forgotten them. Today, Elrisa knows that Richard appearance wasn’t something as simple as it seems.

“What do you want?”

Elrisa question is more direct, and that’s the most crucial point. The evil mastermind won’t show themselves up without any reason. Behind their every appearance, countless lives lost, and it is permanently recorded in history as a calamity.

“Many years, the Olympics has been held. The heroes got their chance to show off to the world. They were performing their best under the spotlight. But don’t you think it was kind of stupid? How can you consider yourself the winner without competing with us? How come you claimed yourself the best without even facing the real enemy? Just like today, the winner of the child’s fight I saw just now will become the best newcomer? Would you please spare me the joke? You guys haven’t even fight with the evil mastermind’s newcomer. That is why I am here. To show you the difference between heaven and earth.”

Richard pointed at himself when he said heaven and towards Max and Giovanni as he said earth. Max and Giovanni couldn’t hold it back anymore, but they looked at Elrisa as she could be said to be the one in charge right now.

Seeing the hesitation on Elrisa’s face, Richard can guess what she is thinking.

“Don’t worry. I am here as the representative of the evil mastermind to handle the newcomer competition. I believe, by now, my friends have arrived at the other venue too. So, shall we start?”

As soon as Richard said that, sounds of explosions could be heard coming from far away. It didn’t stop by one simple explosion as every stadium where they hold the competition is being intruded upon just like now.

Elrisa seemed to be concerned about what is happening in the other stadium, but she could only grit her teeth and clenches her fist. She knows that to check up on the other venues, she needs to defeat the young man in front of him first.

Elrisa was about to move, but before she could do anything, she realized that someone had appeared behind her, and Elrisa immediately turned her body. Standing there, an oriental beauty in a long dress spread out her fan to cover her beautiful visage.

“You heard Richard. He will be handling the newcomer competition. That means he will be handling those two cutie boys over there. As for you, I hope you won’t interfere. Would you like to spend the time having tea with me? Or do you want me to keep you entertained?”

Elrisa recognizes the woman that appeared instantly.

“Chang’e.”

“Wow, you recognize me. You make me flattered. So, have you consider my offer?”

Elrisa knows her since she is on the list of dangerous wanted criminals. Just by her showing up as Richard’s companion explained her affiliation as a member of evil mastermind. Elrisa knows that nobody in the stadium could handle Chang’e except herself.

“Let’s find a place to fight. Child of Light, Air hero, don’t lose. No matter what, you guys are heroes.”

With eyes full of determination, Elrisa and Chang’e disappeared from the stage. Leaving Max and Giovanni to face Richard.
