"Why are you spacing out? Quickly open the hero database."

Max is oblivious that his way of sitting so close to Yuna is making her uncomfortable and awkward. There's no other way for Yuna to escape this situation since she needed Max's cooperation.

"Alright, what do you want to see first?"

Yuna used the computer to access the United Heroes website and logged in to the database section using her account.

"Can you show me the details of the data that you could access about the incident from 10 years ago?"

Yuna then searched the information from the database, and not long after, a lot of information shows up on the screen. Max is looking at it, and it was full of things that weren't disclosed to the public. The possibilities of it being a terrorist attack are still there, but the suspect's name is still hidden from the public.

It seemed that Yuna's rank is still inadequate to know of Lindt or the information about Lindt is being a secret.

"Have you looked enough? Even if you read about it countless times, there's no information that you want or about the person that I am looking for."

Yuna is a bit impatient, afraid if Max will renege his promise.

"There’s another one I need to check first. Please open the information about yourself.”

“Oh, so you still haven’t trusted me yet.”

Yuna doesn’t feel offended at all since the information about herself wasn’t all that confidential. Not to mention the media actually exposes some of her private information, which annoys the hell out of her.

This time the information regarding Yuna is more detailed than what is shown on the hero license.

It includes her ability, and it also mentioned her fire butterfly skill that she used yesterday to put an imprint on Max’s body. Also, there is a mention of her brother, who also became a victim of the bombing incident.

“Okay, I think you’ve looked enough and trusted me now. can we go straight to the point?”

Taking a deep breath, it is time for Max to cooperate with Yuna.

“Before we start, I need you to promise me one thing, though.”

“What is it? is it to keep my mouth shut that you’re the one who tells me the information?”

“No, I just want you to bring me along with you when you got a lead on the case. For example, when you’re going to get into contact with the suspect, I want you to do it together with me.”

Yuna now thinks about whether to agree or not to Max’s request. To be honest, the culprit that they will be encountering is a highly dangerous individual. Even Yuna herself doesn’t have complete confidence in catching the culprit. Now, she needs to bring a piece of baggage like Max with her. She really doesn’t know of what to say.

“I know what you’re thinking about. If the situation looked dangerous, you could just abandon me. You won’t be responsible for it even if I die.”

Hearing the determination in Max’s voice, there’s no way for Yuna to reject his request. Not to mention if she refused it, Max won’t tell her anything. From the incident, Yuna lost her brother, but her grief wasn’t equal to the sadness that Max experienced. Yuna still has her parents that are supporting her through hard times. As for Max, he is alone through it all. The orphanage is there, but it wasn’t equal to what a real family is like.

Yuna wants to sympathize with him, but his cold front makes it hard for her to say anything. She knows that she can only agree to his request if she wants him to cooperate with her.

“Okay. I can promise you that much.”

“Great. Now, can we search for criminal's record from the database?”

“Yeah, we can do that. Whose name do you want to look up?”

“Try searching for someone named Lindt.”

“Lindt?”

Yuna feels that the name is strangely unfamiliar, but she typed it in nevertheless. What’s more surprising is that they couldn’t find any record about him.

“No record found. Are you kidding me?

“What does that mean?”

“It means that the record of this person has never existed. Or someone from the higher-ups decided to delete the record.”

“Wasn’t it because your rank isn’t high enough?”

“If my rank is not enough, it will still show its name and some basic information that is known to the public. What’s your name?”

“Max Air.”

Yuna then inputted Max's name then the information about him shows up. Of course, Yuna isn’t dumb enough to read it now directly. She will find out about him later on when Max isn’t with her.

“Do you have any other clue?”

Max then remember that Lindt has a partner, and if he recalls correctly, her name is Vanya.

“Try searching for Vanya.”

Vanya wasn’t a unique name, and there are a lot of results showing up.

“Do you know her last name?”

“I don’t know, but I know some of her features. Can we search using that?”

“Okay, we can try.”

“If it was her looks, she looks like a beautiful doll with a petite face. If it was about her ability, it was related to water.”

“That’s a bit hard, but we’ll see what we could get from that.”

Yuna then tampered with the computer while Max only watched from the side. The search result has been narrowed down further, but they still need to look through it one by one since there are still too many results. Judging from this, it can be seen how particular is Lindt’s case where all of his records have been completely removed from the United heroes’ database.

“Is it her?”

“No, next one.”

Skimming through the data one by one, times flew fast as there’re still a lot of names to go through on the list.

“That’s the one! It’s her!”

Finally, Max found the picture that is shown to him once by Detective Greg.

Yuna’s sleepy eye immediately shined with spirit when she heard Max’s exclaim.

“Alright, let’s see what we got here.”
