AURORA It was deep into the night. The room was engulfed in silence and yet my eyes were open in the dark. I clutched unto the side to my pillow tightly, high on alert, too conscious and struggling to breathe. Maybe it was the way my body was reeling with heat. It was too aware of the person behind me.
