AURORA I stretched my hands above my head. My eyes were still closed. I still felt sleepy. My brows furrowed my brows slightly and shielded my eyes from the ray of sunshine that flashed across my face. My body felt groggy and weak and I was in no way ready to get up from the bed. I wanted to return back to sleep. My eyes fluttered open slightly and when I opened them wider, I stared up at Kane who looked down at me. Slowly the memories from what happened the previous night began to rush back in. My heart fluttered lightly within the confines of my chest. He didn't leave. He was still here. Somehow, the sight of him looking down at me made me feel warm. I didn't bother to think about the possibility of him watching me while I was asleep. All that mattered was that he cared enough to stay.
