"Please don't kill me," Jack fell to his knees, hands raised in a sigh of peace.
"Who are you?" The authoritative demand came directly in front of Jack, and the voice sounded feminine, so Jack chanced a look. The girl looked like some disney princess. Long dark hair, smooth olive skin, sledner and short frame. But what was interesting about the girl was her glowing purple eyes, which matched the short gown she was wearing. She had a combative stance with a slim sword that matched her frame pointed at him.
"Um J...Jack, Jack Sparrow," Jack stuttered nervously, while staring terrified at the sword. It looks so sharp and shinny. He wondered if it was real. The whole thing feels like one horrible nightmare, and he was hoping to wake up soon before he is killed by some angry mob.
He chanced a look around the room and was surprised to find that they were mostly around his age, but they all looked fierce and dressed as if going into battle.
What was going on? Jack's freaked out mind was about to implode on itself, and he is barely keeping his cool together. There were five teenagers in the room looking suspiciously at him, eaching holding a specific weapon and all pointed at him.
"Who sent you?" It seems only the girl was doing the questioning. Is she their leader? Seems odd when she is the most delicate looking one among them.
"I asked you a question." Jack eyes widened when the pointy sword poked at his forehead with malicious intent. The purple eyes staring at him didn't look like they were messing around. It has grown fiercer if anything.
"I don't know. One moment I am in my room about to play a game, and the next thing I woke up in the forest with some freakish monster after me." Jack was almost in tears. He can't fathom what is real and what is not. This can't be real right. He probably fell asleep in while playing the game, and this is a dream.
More like a nightmare.
"Did the monster follow you here?" Another voice asked from the bunch. This time a masculine voice. It sounded familiar to Jack, like he has heard it somewhere, but his head was too terrified and confused to remember where. He looked away from Miss Purple Princess who still has her sword pointed very close to his head to the new voice.
He gulped at the sight of a familiar handsome face. Seeing those gorgeous blue eyes brought back the memories of where he heard the voice before. "Lucien," Jack tried to rise to his feet. The sight of a familiar face calming his troubled mind.
"Don't move," the whole room screamed, except for Lucien. He was staring at Jack as if he has never seen him before, and his hair looked different. Blonde, long, which he had in a ponytail. Jack ignored the different appearance and tried to jog the blonde's mind as to who he is. They just met yesterday, he couldn't have forgotten him already. "It is me Jack. Remember, at the video game shop. You helped me get down one of the games," Jack desperately explained, but the blonde stared at him as if he was crazy.
"Do you know him, Lur?" Another boy asked. He was dark skinned, tall, lanky, his hair thick full afro which he had packed back with a bandana.
The blonde shook his head which left Jack feeling confused. Why was the blonde acting as if he doesn't remember him, and since when did he dye his hair blonde, and isn't his name Lucien? He must say he preferred his brown hair. It made him look boyish, and his blue eyes was warmer too. This one was cold and distant. The friendly light he glimpsed at the shop sorely lacking.
"Do you think he was sent by Sif, she must have felt our presence?" A guy wearing a mo hawk hairstyle asked, narrowing his eyes at Jack, while moving his spear towards his heart.
Jack flinched back, while asking himself who Sif woman was. The others in the room seemed to be considering his question, they spoke to each other using eye contact, and whoever this Sif guy was, he doesn't seem to be a good person because the tension in the room grew more aggressive as the weapons went back up at him.
"Sif didn't send me," Jack screamed in his defence, his raised hand going futher up to prove his innonce. "I promise you I don't know this Sif woman. Like I told you, I don't know how I got to this forest, but if either of you can point me in the direction of Texas, I would be on my way, and I promise you will never see me again." Jack pleaded with the bunch, hoping they would find him harmless and let him go.
"You are from Texas?" The dark guy asked, his voice a little less aggressive, even his stance relaxed a little. Jack nodded rapidly. Maybe now they would realise that he meant them no harm and set him free.
The boy looked away from him to the others. "Maybe he is his replacement."
Jack was lost again.
"Excuse me, please can you point me towards home. My mother would be worried sick about me," Jack tried to get the show on the road, but no one in the room was paying him any attention.
"He doesn't seems to know why he is here, or even where he is," Miss Purple added.
"Wonderful. They send a replacement and is a dud," Mo hawk snapped, his tone displeased. Jack have no f*****g idea what they are talking about and jusr wants to leave.
Maybe he could use their distraction to leave. He stood to his feet, and started creeping backwards towards the door. He needed to escape these crazies, and find his way home.
A shot arrow few feet away from his feet froze him to the spot.
