I run through the woods as quickly as I can, tripping over roots a time or two, but I get back up and continue on. I think I’m going towards Helga’s hut, but I’m not sure. I’ve not been through this part of the woods very often, but it’s got to be safer than near the dock when the men get off the boat and find their Jarl. Dead. I killed him. I didn’t mean to, not really. I just wanted him to stop and leave me alone. They’ll kill me, surely. I killed their Jarl, and they’ll want me dead for it. I continue into the woods, trying to be as quiet as possible. Finally, I reach a stream and I follow it, hoping that it’s the same stream I’ve become so familiar with. Realizing that I’m leaving footprints along the bank, I pull my shoes off and walk in the water, trying to stay as quiet
