“Apples?” Helga asks me and I giggle a little. She seems to really love them. We ate the ones I brought back a few days ago, happily sharing them with each other. “I go,” I tell her, pulling my bag across my neck. Helga shakes her head at me, tugging my bag off. She turns and hands me the basket she usually uses, placing two knives inside as well. “Get,” she tells me with a smile, and I happily walk outside. I turn back to Helga, smiling at her. “Inga. Apple,” I attempt to tell her of my plan to take my friend some of our treats and she waves me on. It had rained for so many days, but today is bright and sunny and I’m more than happy to be the one to go into the woods.
