Violet POV
Allen said he would be waiting for me outside, but I couldn't find him anywhere, so I decided to go for a walk alone. After Alpha left the room, I put on dark blue jeans and a green top, let my hair down, and went out. Maybe he had some work to do. I walked and felt the unfriendly looks that followed me. Apparently, the fact that I was unwanted by their leader guest had reached most of the pack members. I didn't bother much though. I was expecting nothing better. And I became unwanted in my own pack, after all, so I was used to it.
I saw some of the werewolves shifting and ran for the forest. I just wanted to feel what it would be to have a wolf and to be able to shift. I decided to take a walk through the woods. A short walk, because before I finally sense my wolf, it would be dangerous to linger for a long time there. I saw the Alpha near the lawn, talking with someone. I had to walk beside them to go in.
I had been sauntering around for 5 minutes, but it was so calm and beautiful that I couldn't force myself to come back. Although I didn't have a wolf yet, I was still a werewolf and that was the reason nature was relaxing my senses so much. I was about to turn and head back when I saw a lone figure in the distance. My instinct told me to leave fast, but my curiosity won.
I stared at the figure, which had already begun to move toward me. The only thing I could tell was the black clothes it was wearing. Suddenly it started moving at a fast speed, quickly nearing me and with a loud scream, I turned and ran toward the pack house. I may have lost weight, but even as I wasn't eating well, I was in good shape, because I exercised regularly. Due to the lack of regular nutrition, however, my body had become weak and I felt tired quickly. Even the rush of adrenaline couldn't help me now. I got clumsy from the fatigue and I tripped. Almost immediately something dug its claws in me, lifted me into the air, and slammed me in a three. I screamed again. Before I could move, a vampire caught me for the throat with one hand and raised me to the level of his eyes. I started to choke.
Suddenly a wolf growled behind the vampire's back. He let me down and turned around to face the wolf. They started to circle each other. The werewolf attacked and dig its claws into the vampire flesh, who was now screaming. He tried to get up, but the werewolf stabbed its canines into the vampire's throat and tore it. But the werewolf didn't stop then. It tore as much of the vampire flesh as it was possible, while the latter was screaming in agony. I was backing out, my body was trembling in horror. I suddenly turned and went full speedrunning.
I was already on the lawn in front of the main buildings when I heard the pack members gasping, looking behind me and I was knocked down by the wolf from behind.
He didn't do anything though. He just stood above me, sniffing my whole body.
"I'm all in blood, thanks to you, so don't bother." My bravery came from my despair. I was so tired. I didn't want to be attacked by a vampire or to be put down by a werewolf. I just wanted to live my life among the people in the city. The first tear flowed down on my face. I wiped it with my hand. I felt that he was no longer pressing me to the ground and I stood up. I felt like a rag, bleeding, with tousled hair and a tear-soaked face. Oh, and not to forget the horror in my eyes.
I turned around to face him, but he was no longer in his wolf form. Before me was standing a man, all naked. But there was something in his eyes that made me feel uncomfortable.
"Mate."
My eyes grew bigger and my mouth opened in a gasp.
