Jax's POV.
"Ava!"
"Don't call my name!" She says and walk away making me feel weak.
What's happening to me?
"Jax?" Beth calls.
"Just leave Beth." I say not wanting to hit her.
Gentlemen don't hit ladies.
"You don't have to send me away because that church thing didn't stay, I'm always here for you Jax." She says placing her palm on my cheek.
"f**k off Beth." I say removing her hand from my cheek.
"Whatever you say Jax, you will end up coming to me."
"Just leave!" I raise my voice.
"Alright, alright." She says and walk away.
I walk towards the car to sit.
"What's up with you man?" Aiden and Zach ask in unison.
"I don't know."
"Don't tell me it's what I'm thinking." Aiden says grinning.
"This is not the time to grin." I say and his grinning face turns into a playful glare which was meant to be serious.
"What is it? Talk to me Jax." Zach says.
"She walked away, she must be really mad at me. She thought I used her." I reply.
"Since when do you care about how a lady feels?" Aiden asks.
"I don't care, I just um... I don't feel right." I reply honestly.
"Do you like her?" Zach asks.
"What? No, no." I reply fast.
"Then why did you bring her along?" Aiden asks.
"I just felt like seeing her, that's all." I say.
"Oh! What makes a guy like you feel like seeing a lady?" Aiden asks.
"C'mon Aiden, I'm not that bad."
"So you felt like seeing her and that's all?" He says and laughs hard.
"Ha, ha, it's so funny and that's why you're laughing." I say with total sarcasm.
"I'm laughing because you are in love." He replies laughing hard and I look at him like he is crazy.
"You know I don't do love issues."
"I think you will soon." Zach replies.
"Just get in the car and drop me at my apartment." I say giving him the key to the car.
****
"This is the third bottle Jax, man up it's not like you just broke up with your girl. I thought you came here to get laid, instead you pushed that blonde away."
"S-shut up Zach." I say.
"Your speech is slurred, I should just take you home. I'm surprised that you asked to come here even after we reached our apartment." Aiden adds.
"No, take me to her." I reply.
"Who's ‘her’?" He asks.
"Take me to Ava." I reply.
"Stop it man, you can't do that." Aiden replies.
"I'm doing that."
"His whipped ass wouldn't be this honest when he is sober." Zach says.
"Let's get him home." Aiden says and they both lead me out of the bar.
"If you don't want to go to your apartment, I'll take you to your dorm room." Zach says.
"Whatever, just let me see her."
"You should never drink again, you're a fool when you drink. What's wrong with you?" Aiden asks.
"She's wrong with me."
"Opps!" They say in unison.
"Okay, take me to my dorm room." I say.
"You won't stay in your dorm room when you're sober. You never liked to share your space, you left the room for Luca." Aiden says and Zach nods.
"You two talk a lot, I'm sure that I would get a hangover because of you two. Stop talking and just concentrate on your drive." I say and rest my head.
"Whatever you say, whipped drunk ass." Aiden replies and Zach keeps grinning.
"We are in the parking lot, get your ass out." Zach says.
"Thanks brothers. I'm one strong drunk man." I say laughing.
"You will regret this." Zach says and Aiden drives off.
"I'm off to my dorm room, my dorm room, I'm off to my dorm room." I say to no one in particular.
"Open the door man or are you getting laid already, common open the door! C'MON!" I say hitting the door with my palm.
"What the hell!" An angry voice yells at me and I laugh despite myself.
