Caught By Her Green Eyes

In break time

Class ended and Rose got out of class. Marcus and Lucas get up from their seats.

"What do we do now?" Marcus asked Lucas.

"I'm hungry! Let's eat something." Lucas said, walking out of the classroom with Marcus.

Both went to the school canteen. Lucas stops in the middle as he sees Mark starting someone. He follows his eyes and finds him staring at Rose, who is sitting with the same boy. He sighs helplessly.

Because she is still studying at her table.

“She needs to eat something. Why is she reading at lunchtime? “ Lucas said helplessly.

“You know how she is. She has never learned to stay behind in her studies. She used to sit down to study anytime and anywhere. You remember how we used to hide Rose's books so that she would pay attention to us. But in return, she would get annoyed. And then we would sit to pacify her. It was so much fun.” Marcus smiled remembering the old days.

“Yes, I remember very well. Those are very good memories. But still Rose never skipped her meals like this. On the contrary, she was a bigger foodie than all of us. But look at today. She hasn't even touched the food. And she became thinner.” Lucas said, shaking his head.

“That is why I'm concerned about her, Marcus. And look, how that i***t is not asking her to eat even when he is sitting in front of her. What kind of a friend is he?” Marcus said angrily.

“Why are you two standing in the middle of the road and gossiping like this?” His close friend Anny came forward from behind Marcus and asked.

“Yes, he is right. You should get angry at someone else.” Lucas's best friend Randy came from behind and said.

“Anny-Randy, what are you two doing here?” Marcus asked in a surprised tone.

Anny and Randy were twin brothers. Both were childhood friends of Marcus and Lucas. They always studied with them in school and college.

Apart from these two, two more friends were not twins, but those four got along well with the Black Twins brothers.

“Oh yes, I told you to keep an eye on that boy, right? Then why heak are two doing here?” Lucas said in surprise.

“That is what we are doing, Lucas,” Anny said quickly.

“Yes, as you said, keep an eye on every move of a boy named Mark. That is what we are doing.” Randy said.

“Then what are you two doing here in the canteen?” Lucas asked irritably.

“By the way, there is nothing special about that boy. He is just a shy boy. What flaw did you find in him?” Anny asked.

“He made Rose cry. So, in my eyes, he is not a straight boy.” Lucas said with a frown.

“Oh, yes! Where is our dear Topper? Not only you two were missing her. We all were missing her too.” Anny asked fully while looking here and there.

“She is sitting there,” Marcus said, pointing towards Rose.

Anny and Randy turned back and looked at Rose.

“There! Look how thin she has become. And she is also wearing a mask. As we heard in the gossip.” Anny Randy said to Anny.

“Yes, you are right. Is she dieting or something?” Anny chuckled softly.

“What kind of gossip are you talking about?” Marcus asked in surprise.

“That Rose has come back. And as soon as she came, she broke her friendship with the famous Black brothers. Your fans are not happy with Rose at all. They consider Rose's behaviour as her arrogance. And she wears a mask to hide her arrogant face.” Randy told the.

“What kind of friend are you? Someone is saying bad things about my friend. And you both came like idiots after listening to it?” Lucas said furiously.

“Hey, we have given them a warning not to do anything to Rose. If they do then they will face you two. And they stop their mouths.” Anny said quickly. He changed his place with Randy to save himself from Lucas’ anger. He knows if he stays close to Lucas this time he will get punched in the face for sure.

“Where is he?” Lucas asked helplessly.

“He's at that table… hey, what is he doing?” Randy was staring at someone in the corner.

"What's wrong with his guys, huh?" Lucas growled in anger.

"Marcus looks at his angry twins and then Mark. Mark was continuously staring at Rose. He can see lustful intense eyes. Marcus figured out what he was doing he also felt angry at Mark's behavior. Mark didn't think that his crime was caught by the twins and their friend.

"I'll teach him how to behave….” Lucas tries to walk but Anny stops him.

"Hey!! Wait! Wait- wait!" Both Anny and Randy together grabbed Lucas's arms and pulled him back.

“Clam down, Lucas. You can't just randomly punch his face.” Randy said in a hurry. He was still holding him back with all his straight.

"Hey! Leave me!! No one could stop me from punching his face." Lucas said trying to break free.

"Lucas, we don't need to get our hands dirty," Marcus said, trying to explain to Lucas.

"But he is like stripping Rose just by his eyes. I can't stand against this!!" Lucas tightened his fist.

"Lucas, stop being so stupid. He is one of the businessman's sons. His father donated a big amount to this school. You can't just harm him without proof.” Anny said in a hurry.

“Oh, he is a rich ass guy huh. That is why the teacher was giving him the front seat.” Randy chuckled.

“So what? My father also paid the highest amount to this school. I can punch him now!” Lucas pointed out.

“Lucas, we can stop him from doing that, but not like you think. Let's go, we have to show him that she is not alone. Guys, bring us some healthy food…" Marcus pulled Lucas to Rose's table.

Lucas just followed Marcus like their friends. Rose was reading the book and the food in front of her was untouched. Both guys frowned in displeasure. She ignored her food just to read a book!?

"Eat your food, Rose." Lucas snatched a book from her.

She just looked up in anger. Lucas knows Rose doesn't like it when someone interrupts her studies.

When her eyes land on Lucas and Marcus her eyes widen in surprise. She tries to take her book, but Lucas keeps his hand up. They were hoping that one Rose would curse them for taking a book like that. She did in the past.

But except cursing them she stands up and tries hard to get back her book. She stood up in her tho, but couldn't reach it. Because Lucas was taller than any other boy in school.

"Give her book back, Lucas." Kiran stood up in anger.

"You better shut up! What kind of friend are you? Rose didn't eat her food and you didn't care about that! You better sit back." Marcus pushed him down to his chair back.

"You…" Kiran struggled to remove his hand, but Marcus' grip was much stronger than his.

"Don't forget who we are! You better know where your place is." Marcus said, sitting on a chair beside Kiran keeping his hand on Kiran.

Kiran wanted to say something, but he shut his mouth because he didn't want to fight with Marcus knowing Rose still cared about them.

Marcus smirks with a satisfied smile. He turned back to the live show going on between Lucas and Rose. Rose is still trying to take a book from Lucas. But Lucas is still holding the book up with a playful smile.

"Rose, you can't reach your book, Lucas is taller than you. Stop struggling and eat your food first. Then Lucas give your book back."

Rose shook her head in no as she looked at him, but she lost her balance. She was going to fall back.

"Rose…" Marcus stood up in shock.

"Catch you! Huh?" Lucas was very fast. He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her up to him. She landed on her hands.

Rose looks up at Lucas, and at the same time, Lucas looks down at her. Both eyes meet, and Lucas catches her green eyes. He never noticed her eyes before. He felt something pulling him into her deep green eyes.
