NIGHT OF THE EVE

IN THE EVENING ,

Everyone was getting ready for going to the party . It was around 6pm in the evening now . Sophia went to her Granny's room to see whether she has gotten ready or not . '' Granny , are you ready yet ?'' Sophia asks from behind the door . '' Come in dear '' she says .

'' I am halfway done now , '' she replied '' what about you ?'' . '' I was thinking about what to wear '' said Sophia . '' Why troubled about that you can wear a gown or dress which will suit you the most '' her Granny says . '' I don't like to dress that much '' Sophia asserts .

'' Its good to dress up once in a while '' says her Granny . '' Guess i will wear something light '' she comments . '' Get dressed quickly we have to leave early and arrive early by night , your Grandpa hasn't arrived yet what should i do ?'' asks her Granny quite troubled .

'' Where did he went to ?'' asks Sophia . '' He went to buy something for his old friend he said he will come back soon '' says her Grandma. '' Should i call him ?'' Sophia asks . '' He didn't took his phone with him '' remarks her Granny .

'' Oh well i think he will come back soon , i will get ready , i will check if Dad has gotten ready yet '' Sophia says . '' Nice girl , you always look after others '' her Granny remarks . '' I love the people here that's why '' she replies .

Sophia leaves after that. She goes to her Dad's room . She goes in there . Her Dad was looking over the papers . '' What are you doing Dad ?'' she asks . '' Oh Sophia , i am looking over the property papers which the lawyer had made for me '' he replies sorting out them .

'' Won't you get ready ?'' she asks . '' I will don't you worry ,now i just need to look over the treasures which are in my locker then i am set to go '' he replies . '' Can i look at them Dad ?'' she asks . '' Sure ,you can '' he replies .

He gets up takes the key of the locker from the cupboard . Then opens the locker . These are all the seven treasures . '' What were those again ?'' she asks . '' The statue of the budhha which was in Samuel's pocket , the second is the statue of Mary , Jesus's mom ,which is made of Red Beryl along with Sapphire green ones , the third one which is the wand which consists of Emerald , Blue diamond , Red diamond '' he says .

'' What about the others ?'' she exclaims . '' The fourth one which consists of Jesus Christ stabbed in the cross , which has Alexandrite , Taffeite and Ruby , the fifth one which has a coin which consists of Black opal , blue diamond , along with white diamonds , the sixth one a ring which is embedded with Red diamond , opal , Blue diamond and platinum , the seventh and the last one a stone made from white diamond shinning , that's all ''' says her father .

'' How much all of it would cost ?'' asks Sophia out of curiosity . '' Well ... i think probably around ?$100,00 or more than that '' her Dad remarks .'' Now that's lot of money '' she asserts . '' Sure it is , one probably could make a fortune out of this money '' her Dad says .

'' He sure will , but i wonder why didn't the killer take it if it was so much precious ?'' Sophia asks . '' Maybe ... he isn't interested in the money and had some hatred towards him thats why he was killed '' says Sophia .

'' That's possible , .... i will put these all in and lock it you go get ready , i will get ready too '' her Dad remarks . '' Alright then '' Sophia says and leaves the room . She gets ready wearing a pink gown along with crystal heel , her hair falling down on her both sides .

'' This will be enough to shoot down Edward with my looks '' she says with a smug look o his face . '' But .. i think is should probably lose a little bit of weight ... need to go on diet from tomorrow '' she thinks to herself .

'' Among all of this i am not able to keep a watch on Uncle at all only when he's at home i can keep him on watch but now he doesn't stay at home at all now mostly outdoors Mom also , i wonder what they are doing outside '' she thought .

'' There must be something happening here which we are unaware of something mysterious '' she thoughts to herself '' and i need to find it out myself '' . Everyone gathered by 7 pm . Uncle had arrived by then even though he wasn't going along with them at the party .

Everyone is in the living room ,

'' All ready ?'' asks her Dad . '' Yes , ''' Sophia and her Granny responds . '' Where is Dad now ?'' he asks . '' I have come already '' her Grandpa says coming there . '' Where were you all day ?'' her Granny asks . '' I was , out to buy these flowers which i could only find after searching in the whole town '' he replies .

'' My friend , he just loves those flowers '' he replies , with a nostalgic look on his face . '' Grandpa , is your friend a boy or girl ?'' Sophia asks with a grin on her face . '' She's a woman of my age '' her Granny grunts .

'' Is that really true Grandpa ?'' Sophia asks being astonished . '' Yes , fortunately , she's quite healthy , actually she used to be my crush in college and i had proposed to her but she rejected me '' says her Grandpa .

'' Your Grandpa was quite the hunk there '' says her Granny . '' Is that true ?'' Sophia asks . '' Yup it is '' her Grandpa replies . '' ANyway , let's head out it will take one hour to reach there '' says her Dad .

'' Yeah , let's go get into the car '' says her Grandpa . '' Sure '' Sophia remarks . Right at that moment called her Uncle from behind , '' Are you all leaving ?'' .. '' Yes we are '' replies her Grandpa .

'' Tell Mom that i had prepared dinner for her warm it up and eat it we will come home late '' Sophia says to him . '' I will send the message '' her Uncle replies . '' Have a safe trip and have fun '' her Uncle says while sending them off '' send lots of love for old woman Lucy '' .

They all got into the car and left .

In the car ,

'' I am excited to meet the woman who used to be the crush of Grandpa '' Sophia remarks . '' I don't like that woman at all '' her Grandma complains . '' Oh dead why don't you still like her at all '' her Grandpa consoles her .

'' Cause she's just … i don't like her character '' her Grandma grumbled . '' Anyway , stop talking it will ruin my make up '' she grunts . '' You stilll are worried about your make up Granny '' Sophia chuckles .

'' Of course i am , your mom …. .. …… she used to compliment me a lot cause of my looks , she was a woman of gentle behaviour '' she mutters . '' Her mom , she is much more better than my current wife Maria , i shouldn't have had maried her '' he blames herself .

'' No point in blaming yourself , what's done is done '' says her Granny . '' Anyway how much time will it take ?'' her Grandpa asks . '' Fifty minutes more '' the driver replies .

At this time a message comes in Sophia's phone with a beep sound . It's from Edward . It's contents were '' i have a surprise for you wait for it '' .

'' Wait a surprise what surprise , what could it be ?'' she thinks to herself .

'' What happened Sophia ?'' her Dad asks . '' Ah hmm it's nothing '' she replies '' Alright then '' he replies . '' Its been a while since we went at that place '' her Dad remarks .

At this time at home ,

When all of them left . George , Sophia's uncle was at the living room . He was about to go upstairs but he stopped walking and called from the stairs . '' Come down sister in law or should i say babe '' George says whimsically .

'' Did they left already ?'' Sophia's Mom asks standing in the top of the stairs . '' They did '' he replied '' now it's only you and me '' . Her Mom comes down at a steady pace . '' Would you like to have dinner ?'' George asks .

'' I would like but first i want to do some exercise '' remarks Sophia's Mom . '' Exercise ? how will you do that ?'' George smirks . '' I will do it like this '' she pins him down onto the dinner table . '' You seem pretty much agressive there '' remarks George .

'' Why wouldn't i ? i have been keeping my patience waiting for them to leave '' she whispers in his ears '' and at last they have left '' . '' Yup now all the people in the house is me and you , Maria '' he hissed .

'' Let's go upstairs , i don't feel that much comfortable in this position '' remarks George . '' Sure then '' she leaves his hands . '' I will show you what i am made '' he says taking her into his arms and carrying her up the stairs .

'' You really love playing games with '' he remarks . '' Of course i do '' she replies . '' We will play all night untill they come '' says he pinning her to the bed , she fell down . '' Hey , what's the use of those ropes for ?'' she asks .

'' Yes i did , she mostly had frail figure and that night when she had died the previous day i asked a man to come into her room and when Harry was away and the morning when he had arrived , he saw the man leaving her room while Sophia was asleep in the other room and after that there was lots of fights between them then along with depression and Harry's rude treatment towards her she finally decided to take her own life '' she replies .

'' And after that i framed the man also , now he's in jail now , this is my revenge against Sophia's mom who used to be my classmate but she stole Harry away from me i hate her for that '' she curses her . '' You are a clever woman than i had ever thought '' remarks George .

'' I know who i am , and Samuel is the son of the man who's in jail now '' she replies '' but Harry knows that my husband had died '' . '' What a clever woman , you didn't told me about tit untill now '' he retorts .

'' Well of course no one knows it beside me , but i decided to tell you '' she says smiling . ''' What if i say this to Harry? then '' he threatens her . '' Even if you say he won't believe you cause i am the tragic woman here '' she chuckles .

'' You can become one fine actress '' he remarks . ''Yup i can '' she giggles . '' ANyway let's start then '' he says . She nods '' i can't wait '' . He takes the rope and binds her both of her hands and legs to the corner of the bed .

'' We had been having these secret affair for five long years can they believe that ?'' she giggles . '' Cause we were acting like sworn enemies , our acting is all perfect so no one will find anything out , but i think your daughter , i mean Sophia had been keeping watch on me for a while , do you think she's suspecting something about our affair ?'' he says while tying her up .

'' Don't you worry we need to behave as if we are behaving more rudely towards each other then she won't suspect anything '' she replies . '' I hope everything goes as smoothly as you say '' he says .

'' I did feel bad a little bit cause he was my son but also the reminder of my sins which bore fruit giving birth to him '' says she . '' I can relate to him cause he's like me '' he says . '' Did you married Harry because of his money ?'' he asks .

'' Yes of course , but i love you only '' she replies . She comes out of the bathroom wearing the towel . '' You go take one now , i am going downstairs to eat '' she asserts . '' Alright then i will be heading downstairs too '' he remarks .

Maria , wears one nightgown and heads downstairs . At this time everyone had arrived at the party and were enjoying the foods and dance along with music .
