Sophie grabbed the plate of French fries, and walked back over to the guy sitting at the counter. "Do you need ketchup or anything?" She asked. "No." Justin replied not looking her in the face. "Ok." Sophie replied, and walked away to go check back on the teenagers. Justin couldn't help but follow her with his gaze, his wolf wanted to keep his eyes on her. 'STOP IT' he mind linked to Edon, looking at his plate and shoving a handful of fries into his mouth. '"Alright guys, do you need anything else?" Sophie asked. "No." replied the brown haired boy. "Just the check." Sophie ripped the top paper off of her order book, and placed it on the table. "That guy is super hot." Said the blond girl to Sophie, gesturing towards Justin. "And he keeps checking you out." She said raising her eyebrows. "I guess he's alright." She lied. "Just come over to the counter to pay whenever you're ready. It looks like the rain is finally dying down." Sophie walked over to where Frank and Henry were sitting. "Need a refill guys?" She asked. "No thanks, I best get home to the misses." Frank said. "Rains died down a lot, so I guess I'll be going too." Henry smiled. "Just put it on your tabs?" Sophie asked. Both men nodded as they got up. "See you guys next time." Sophie said gathering their plates and cups up. "Sophie." Henry said grabbing her attention "Oliver is crazy for letting you go, some other guy will surely come sweep you up." Justin looked up when Henry mentioned Oliver. "Thanks Henry, you're too good to me." Sophie said with a smile on her face. She turned to walk to the kitchen, and noticed Justin was staring at her. He shot his eyes down to his plate when she looked. She smiled, then walked through the swinging doors, and placed the dishes in the sink. She walked back over to Justin, sitting at the counter. "Do you need a refill or anything else?" Sophie asked him. He shook his head no. "Big talker aren't you?" She asked him with a smile. "I guess not!" He replied coldly. Sophie just smiled and made her way to the register, as she saw the teenagers making their way over. They handed her their order ticket. "$18.95." Sophie said, after ringing it in on the register. "You guys be safe out there." Sophie said. "Thank you." The brown haired boy said. The cute blond looked Sophie in the eyes making eye contact, and then looked at the guy on the counter who was staring at Sophie again. "HOT" she mouthed waving her hand in her face. Sophie snickered waving her hand in dismissal. The girl just laughed and said "Bye" waving, the walked towards the door. As the 4 of them approached the door a man in his early twenties opened it and stood back holding the door letting them out. "Thank you" They said. He smiled and nodded "You're welcome." Hearing a familiar voice Justin swung around. "It's about time, what the heck took you so long?" He said raising his voice. "Calm down bro, it was still raining pretty hard when I left. It just let up." He said taking a seat at the stool next to him. Sophie walked up. "Can I get you  anything?" She asked the newcomer. "NO!" Justin said loudly. Sophie looked at Justin confused. "Oh come on bro, I'm starving. Let me just get something to go." Eric said. "Fine!" Huffed Justin. "But make it fast." "You'll have to excuse him." Eric said. "He's been cranky like this for as long as I can remember." "I assume you're brothers?" Sophie asked looking at them both. "YUP! I'm Eric and he's Justin." He replied stretching his hand out for her to shake it. "I'm Sophie." She said with a big smile taking his hand and shaking it. Justin growled lowly under his breath. Sophie looked at Justin strangely, wondering why he had growled. Eric gave Justin a perplexed look and then said. "Um, I'll just take a cheeseburger, fries, and a coke to go please." Eric said. "Ok." Sophie said, a little shocked, and walked away to put Eric's order in. "What the heck was that?" Eric asked, after Sophie was out of ear shot. "I can't take anymore today." Justin said placing his head in his hands. "First The Adelstones dropped that bombshell on us at lunch, then I crash my car, and now this!" He sneered. "What is it?" Eric inquired. Justin brought his head out of his hands, and looked at Eric "She's my mate!" Justin said through gritted teeth. Eric's jaw dropped open then he punched Justin in the arm. "Congrats bro that's great! I'm super jealous, I cant wait to find my mate!" "What's so great about it?!" Justin sneered. "Why aren't you happy about this? I know you're the "Angry Alpha." Eric mocked. "But I thought you'd at least be happy when you found your mate. You've been waiting for 10 years to find her!" "We can't talk about this here, wait until we leave!" Justin said. "Fine." Eric said shaking his head. Sophie came walking back with a white paper bag, and a to go cup. "Here ya go Eric, are you guys going to pay together?" She asked. "Yeah he's got it." Eric said looking at Justin. Justin shook his head, pulled out his wallet and put a $20 and a $10 bill down. "Just keep the change, we're in a hurry." He said standing up. Eric rolled his eyes at Justin. "It was so nice to meet you Sophie." Eric said with a smile. Sophie smiled back. "It was nice to meet you as well." They turned around to leave, and Edon wouldn't stop yelling in Justin's head 'MATE! MATE! SAY THANK YOU!' Edon whined. Justin growled under his breath and turned around. "Thank you." He said to Sophie, his face pulled tight together. "Uh you're welcome I guess." Sophie replied kind of snarky and shurgged her shoulders. 'Are you happy?' Justin asked Edon walking out of the diner. 'Yes, but I don't want to leave our Mate!' Edon replied. "SHUT UP!" Justin said out loud as he walked to the passenger side of Eric's Mustang. Then he pushed Edon to the back of his mind so he could have some silence. Justin opened the door and slid in the car. "Who are you talking to?" Eric questioned. "Edon he wont shut up about our Mate!" Justin sneered. Eric shook his head. "He's been waiting for her 10 years too!" Justin rolles his eyes. Eric started the car and pulled out of the parking spot. He turned left out of the parking spot and headed back towards the pack. "Ok, so now talk. Why aren't you happy about finding your mate?"  Justin sighed and shook his head. "She's human!" Eric shook his head. "So what if she's human. Are you really that arrogant?" "I'm not arrogant! But I am an Alpha, and the Alpha to one of the strongest pack in America. I need a strong Luna beside me, especially with what we're getting ready to face! How will a human Luna be able to go through an attack from Asher and his army? How will she be able to help me protect our pack?! Eric sighed "I don't know bro, but The Moon Goddess knows what she's doing. She picked Sophie as your mate for a reason. Maybe she is exactly the mate you need, and the Luna our pack needs."  "Whatever, I don't want to talk about it anymore. I can't chance bringing a human into our pack, she could make us vulnerable." Then he mind linked Zeke 'Have to chopper ready to go, we'll be back at the Packhouse in 20 minutes.' 'Yes Alpha' Zeke replied through mind link. "I'm going to take the chopper to Indy since my car is totaled." Justin said. "Ok Justin, but we're finishing this discussion about Sophie." Eric said eye brows raised. "Fine! Whatever, when I get back!" Justin said starting put the window. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sophie stood at the counter, picking up Justin's plate and cup, when Ed came walking over to her. "Well he was a pleasant guy wasn't he?" Ed said walking up beside Sophie.  "Yeah, he seems pretty angry." Sophie replied. "He did just wreck his car though." She shrugged. "I don't know, he was angry, but he seemed to like you Sophie." Carol said. Sophie turned to Carol "You're crazy, that's not how someone who likes you acts. I'm pretty sure he can't stand me. What a jerk" "Ok." Carol smirked. Sophie could lie to them, but she couldn't lie to herself. She definitely felt an immediate attraction to him. 'I've never felt anything like that.' She thought. 'Oh well, I'm sure I'll never see him again anyway. So why worry about it?" A couple walked into the diner. "Hello welcome to Carol's." Sophie said, pushing the thoughts of the handsome stranger to the back of her mind.
