"We're almost there Alpha." The helicopter pilot said. Justin looked up from the papers he had been working on to see them approaching the Indianapolis airport. "Rachel just radioed that a car is waiting." The pilot said. "Ok Mike." Justin replied. Mike landed the helicopter, jumped out, ducking down low, opened the door for Justin, and put his overnight bag in the back seat of a black limo. "I'll be ready to head home about 10am on Monday." Justin yelled to Mike over the sound  of the helicopter blades whooshing above their heads. "As you wish Alpha." Mike yelled back, jumping bac into the helicopter, and taking off. Justin sighed as he saw Rachel had sent the limo to pick him up. He hated riding in it, it made him feel like some rich jerk. "Sir." A young man with dish water blond, hair wearing a dark grey suit said. Justin nodded as the young man opened the door letting him in. The young man shut the door, and walked over to the drivers seat and got in. "Straight to the hotel Sir?" He asked. "Yes." Justin replied coldly. It was short 10 minute drive to the hotel, and a beautiful young women was standing outside waiting as they approached. After he had parked, the limo driver started opening his door to go around and let Justin out. "No need." Justin held up his hands. " I can open my own door." "Yes sir." The young man replied, shutting the door. Justin  opened the door, and grabbed his overnight bag, swinging it over his shoulder. "HI JUSTIN!" Exclaimed the beautiful young women, flashing a smile at him, and wrapping her arm under his. She was very beautiful, long straight blond hair that fell halfway to her back, and long legs most women would kill for. She was wearing a short navy blue shirt, tucked in white button up shorts, and a navy blazer. Rachel had always had a thing for Justin, and he knew it along with everyone else, but he had never returned the feelings. That didn't stop Rachel from trying hard to get Justin to notice her. 'MATE!' Edon growled. 'SHE IS NOT OUR MATE!' 'Stop whining!' Justin replied back angry. "Rachel what's going on with the build? I thought you could handle things down here, that's why I put you in charge. Why did I have to come all the way down here?" Justin sneered. "Well,  ummmm, the inspector came by and said we had to stop construction." She replied. Justin shook his head. "What the hell happened?" He snapped, as the entered the hotel and walked towards the elevator. "Welcome Sir!" A sweet young lady behind the desk said as they walked past. Justin glanced over but ignored her as he looked back at Rachel awaiting her reply. Rachel pulled her arm away and Justin could feel Edon relax slightly. "We have a meeting at 9am on Monday at the build site." She replied. "WHAT?! Why am I here on Friday then? That wont do, I have to leave at 10am on Monday, and get back. Call and get it rescheduled for tomorrow." Justin replied annoyed. "Justin, tomorrow is Saturday." She replied. "I don't care! Figure it out! You're the one who said I needed to get out here immediately so FIX IT!" He snapped.  "Fine!" She huffed, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Do you want to grab dinner?" She asked hopeful. "No! It's been one thing after another today, I'm not in the mood to go out. I'll just order room service. Send up the build specs and progress report to my room." "I'll grab the reports and bring them to you myself, I'll join you for dinner." She said with a sly smile on her face. Justin looked over at her. His parents as well as Elias and Ashley had always stressed to him how important it was to wait for your mate, and if you didn't you would one day regret it. So that is what he did. He had many women who had thrown themselves at him, including Rachel, but he had always resisted. 'And now for what?' He thought. 'He had met his Mate and she was a human.' There was no way he could be with that human girl. "That's fine, grab the papers and meet me in the room. I'll order us room service." He said coldly. You could see the excitement and shock on Rachels face, she nodded and pushed a floor button on the elevator. A few moments later the elevator stopped at the 10th floor. "I'll be right up." She said with a smile. Justin nodded as the doors closed. "What is wrong with you?!' Edon yelled at Justin. 'What?' He replied back. 'You're an i***t! We've waited all this time, and you're finally going to give into that slut the day we meet our mate?!' Edon snarled. 'She can't be our mate Edon! She is a weak human!' Justin sneered pushing him into the back of his mind again. As the elevator reached the top floor Justin had to punch in a code for the elevator doors to open. The entire top floor was a personal suite that was used only by him and Eric. With the occasional special guests that they needed to impress for business reasons. It had 4 huge bedrooms that each had their own bathroom. There was also another bathroom off the big living room with a dining room off of the living room, and a kitchen beyond that. As Justin entered, an older gentleman stood there. "Good evening Alpha, how was the helicopter ride over?" He asked. "It was fine Robert. Will you have some chicken fettuccini and garlic bread for 2 sent up please?" Justin said. "Of course Alpha." Robert replied. "Rachel will be here momentarily, let her in when she arrives. Once the food gets here you can retire for the night." Justin said. Robert stood there looking at Justin. "What?" Justin snapped at him. Robert jumped and then replied. "Sorry Alpha, I am just surprised to hear Rachel will be joining you for dinner." Justin lowered his head and placed a hand on Roberts shoulder. "Sorry I snapped its been a long day, we just have some business things to take care of." Justin replied. Robert smiled and nodded "I'll order it right away." Robert was an Omega and had been serving Justin's family since he was a boy. Justin felt bad for snapping at him, which was unusual for the Alpha, but he had a soft spot for Robert. Robert would often play hot wheels with Justin and later video games when his dad was busy with business or pack duties. "I'm going to hop in the shower, let Rachel in when she arrives." Justin said "Yes Alpha." Robert said with nod. The warm water drizzling over his head felt great. Justin sighed as he recounted everything that had happened in that one day. He truly couldn't believe how his life had change in just 10 short hours. 'Asher was coming back, The Addlestone's are back in my life, my Jag is probably totaled, and my Mate is a weak human.' He shook his head, washed off, and then got out with a towel around his waist. He walked over to the closet, grabbed a white t-shirt and grey athletic shorts, then put them on. He ran his hands through his hair and then went out to the living room. He saw Rachel sitting on the couch waiting for him, with the food on the coffee table. "I thought we could just eat in here." Rachel said with a coy smile. "That's fine." Justin replied, taking a seat across from her on the loveseat. "I ordered us a bottle of wine too." She smirked. "None for me." He replied. Justin never drank alcohol, he could never understand the draw so many had for it. He didn't like the way it made him feel, out of control, he liked being in control always. "Did you bring the papers?" "Yes." Rachel replied, handing Justin a manila envelope. He opened it and began flipping through its contents. "Did you get the meeting rescheduled for tomorrow?" He asked not looking up at her, concentrating on the papers in front of him. "Yes, but it wasn't easy. He said he is making an exception since you'll only be here through the weekend." She replied. "Good." Justin sneered. "I don't understand what the problem is. Looking at these everything seems fine, up to code. It makes no sense." "I guess we'll find out tomorrow." Rachel shrugged. "Ok." He sneered, picking up the plate of fettuccini in front of him and taking a bite. Rachel did the same and they both ate quietly for a few minutes. "So what happened today that was so bad?" Rachel asked. "I really don't want to talk about it." Justin sighed, setting his empty plate down on the table in front of him. Rachel picked it up, as well as hers, and walked off towards the kitchen. 'MATE!' Justin heard Edon whine in his head. 'DO NOT START!' He growled back. Rachel came back in, grabbed her glass of wine and sat down next to Justin. An image of Sophie flashed in to Justin's mind, but he pushed it away. "I'm glad you decided to let me join you for dinner." Rachel said placing her hand on Justin's knee. Justin could hear Edon growling in the his head and pushed him back. Rachel slowly turned looking Justin in the eyes, she smiled at him and moved in closely towards him. Justin leaned into her and their lips met. Sophie's face again flashed in his mind and he jerked pushing Rachel away form him causing her to spill her wine. She stood up and ran to the kitchen coming back with a towel and vinegar. Justin just sat there, watching her clean it up. When she was done she got up and sat back down beside him placing the towel and vinegar on the table. "Now, where were we?" She asked as she leaned in to kiss him again. Justin grabbed her hips and pulled her to him their lips meeting again. Just then he heard Sophie's voice in his head "You're welcome I guess." He recounted. Then he heard Edon whimpering as if in pain, and then felt a slight pain in his chest as well. He growled and pushed Rachel off of him causing her to let out a scared gasp. "What's wrong?" She asked. Justin growled lowly and Rachel inched closer to him. He shook his head and said. "I'll see you in the morning, we'll go look at the site before the meeting." "But Justin." Rachel said placing her hand back on his knee. "GET OUT!" He yelled as Sophie's face popped into his mind again. Rachel stood up, clearly upset, and stormed off towards the elevator glaring at him as she walked in and the doors closed slowly.
