Justin sighed and then he yelled to himself "GREAT! Just what I needed!" He tried to restart the car, he had auxiliary power but nothing else was happening. He jumped out to inspect the damage, grabbing a jacket out of the back seat and holding it over his head. It was pretty bad, the entire front end was wrapped around the tree.
He hopped back in the drivers seat, and felt something warm on the top of his head. He flipped down the visor, to look into the mirror, and saw a gash on his forehead.
He pulled out his phone and dialed some numbers. "Hello, I need a tow please." He said, after the other end had been picked up. "I'm on Federal just past Clark. You cant miss it, it's the black Jag wrapped around a tree!" He spit out! "Ok!" He said hanging up his phone.
He heard a knock on his window and turned to see a man standing there, so he rolled it down.
"Hey buddy are you alright?" The man asked holding an umbrella over himself and the car to keep them both dry.
"Yes I'm fine. I called a tow truck, it's on it's way. I was just about to call for a ride to come pick me up."
"Well, you're welcome to come over to the diner and wait." The man pointed across the street. "I've got a first aid kit, that gash on your head looks pretty nasty."
Justin glanced across the street. It was raining so hard he could barely make it out, but he could see it was an old diner with glass windows across the front. It looked like several people where standing at the windows looking over at them.
"Tow truck said he was only 5 minutes away, but I'll come in after he takes my car." Justin replied.
The man nodded, hurrying back over to the diner. Justin pulled out his phone and dialed Eric. He filled him in on what had just happened, told him where he was and to come get him. A few minutes later a tow truck backed up to Justin's car. Justin jumped out, grabbing his jacket again he walked over to a young man in dirty jeans and a white T-shirt. The young man was getting his car hooked up to pull on the bed. The young man nodded, and Justin approached him. "I need you to tow my car to this body shop on Jefferson." Justin said in a commanding tone.
"Yes Sir, no problem." The young man replied. "Are you ok, that cut on you head looks pretty bad."
"I'm fine" Justin replied. "Jerry, the owner, of the body shop will pay you when you drop it off."
"Ok Sir, I will take care of it no problem." The young man smiled.
Justin nodded his head. Then he grabbed his bag out of the back seat, and ran off towards the diner, with his jacket over his head, shielding him from the torrential down pour.

Sophie walked back over to the table of teenagers. "How's your food guys?"
"It's really good, thank you." The brown haired boy smiled.
"Great! Can I get you guys a ref.." They all jumped when they heard a loud crash outside. "OH MY GOSH!" Sophie yelled. "Ed someone just crashed into a tree across the street." Her hand to her mouth.
Ed ran over to the register and grabbed an umbrella. "Carol I'll be right back I'm going to make sure everyone's ok. You guys stay here!"
They all walked over to the booth where Sophie was standing with the teenagers. They watched as Ed ran across the street towards the wrecked car. They saw him talking to someone for a minute, then he made his way back to the diner.
"Is everyone ok?" Carol asked with a scared look on her face.
"Yes dear." Ed replied as he shook the rain off the umbrella out, before walking all the way in. "There is just one young man in the car. He has a pretty good gash on his head. He called a tow truck, I guess its pretty close. He's going to come over here and wait after the tow truck gets here, until his ride arrives. Carol grab the first aid kit so we can bandage it up when he gets in here."
Carol nodded, yhen went behind the counter pulling a first aid kit. Henry and Fred took their seats back at the counter.
"Ma'am?" The pretty blond girl said, snapping Sophie back to reality.
She realized she had just been standing there like a statue the whole time, staring at the black car across the street. "Oh! Sorry guys! Drinks?" she asked.
"I'm fine." They all said one at a time. Sophie nodded, then she headed back behind the counter where Ed and Carol were talking.
"You can tell that young man is pretty steamed. Not that I blame him. That's a really expensive car wrapped around that tree." Ed laughed.
Carol glanced over. "The tow truck is over there now. Do you think he needs to go to the hospital?"
"He said he's fine." Ed shrugged.
They all watched as a man ran towards the diner with a jacket draped over his head.
"Sophie, the poor guy is going to be soaked. Will you run back to the stock room and grab some towels?" Carol asked.
Sophie nodded. Shr made her way to the swinging doors and headed into the back.
Justin walked in the door, shaking his jacket off outside before entering.
Carol walked up to him. "Young man are you ok?" He nodded angrily. "Why don't you come sit down, so I can bandage that cut up?" Carol asked.
"I'm fine." He replied, clearly irritated.
"Nonsense." Carol said, grabbing his arm and leading I'm to the counter near the register.
He rolled his eyes but followed her taking a seat at one of the stools. After his day he was in no mood to argue with anyone.
"I'm Carol, and that's my husband Ed." Carol gestured to Ed, who was standing over and talking with Henry and Fred.
Ed nodded, and raised his coffee up towards Justin who nodded back in return.
Carol grabbed a paper towel and wiped the blood off Justin's head. "Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital, so they can make sure you're ok?"
"No, I'm fine. I don't need to go to the hospital. My brother will be here in half an hour or so to pick me up." He replied anger dripping from his lips.
Just then he caught a whiff of something amazing. It smelled like cinnamon and oranges. He sniffed the air and heard Edon say "MATE!!" in his head. Justin turned his head and saw a women walking out of two swinging doors. "She is beautiful" Edon said. Justin watched as she walked towards him. She had bright red hair pulled up into a bun on top of her head, the blue 50's style dress she wore really showed off the slight curve of her hips. As she walked closer, he noticed her eyes were a penetrating green, freckles danced across her fair cheeks. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. He felt an immediate attraction to her, like those green eyes could ruin him.
She smiled at him. "Here are some towels you can use to dry off with." Handing him 3 white bar towels.
Sophie couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. He had jet black hair and beautiful tan skin that looked like he had just come from the beach. He had the brightest blue eyes she had ever seen. She looked down, noticing he had tight chiseled abs, that shown through his soaking wet, button down white shirt. She blushed a little and looked up meeting his gaze. They both stood there, starting at each other for a few seconds, until Justin reached up to grab the towels from Sophie's hands. His fingers grazed hers and she pulled away quickly as she felt an electric shock snapping her out of the trance he seemed to have on her. "Oh!" She exclaimed pulling her hand away and then laughed. "You gave me a shock!"
Justin kept watching her as she walked around the counter stopping on the other side in front of him. "Do you want to order anything while you wait?" She asked pulling an order book and pen out of her apron.
"I'll just take some fries and a coke." He replied.
"Ok, coming right up!" She replied with a smile and walked away.
Carol placed a big band-aid over the gash on his head, then she placed her hand on his shoulder. "Well, that's about all I can do for you young man."
Justin had totally forgot she was even there, fixing it up. He looked at her and reached up touching the band-aid. Carol smiled at him then started putting items back inside the first aid kit. She walked around the counter and put it away.
Sophie walked back over placing a coke in front of Justin. "Here you go, your fries will be right up." She informed him with a smile. Justin nodded at her.
"Sophie can I talk to you in the back?" Carol asked. Sophie nodded and followed Carol through the swinging doors.
"What was that?" Carol asked as they entered the back room.
"What was what?" Sophie replied confused.
"You and that young man stood there staring at each other for like 30 seconds." Carol laughed.
"We did?!" Sophie asked surprised.
"You sure did." Carol nodded her head, and crossed her arms.
"Hmmm." Sophie replied. "That's weird." Then she shrugged her shoulders, and walked back towards the doors.
As Justin watched Sophie and Carol walk away into the back he again heard Edon say in his head 'MATE!'
'She can not be our mate!' Justin snapped at his wolf through their mind link.
'Why not?' Edon asked.
'Because she's human!' Justin shook his head in disbelief, and then placed his head in the palms of his hands. 'What is the Moon Goddess doing to me?' He thought.
