Sia - POV

“Take this.” Alpha placed something in my palm; I glanced at it. It was a necklace with a single pearl on it.

“I don’t understand why you’re giving me this” Alpha did not respond with anything but stared at me for a few seconds.”It’s a little gift, whether you wear it or toss it away; your call.” He stated solemnly.

Though I wanted to discard it, I needed to maintain good relations with Tyrant until I started my plan to get revenge on him, so I kept the present.

Alpha dressed in his suit; he was as attractive as hell, and I diverted my attention as I waited to get Liza to assist me in getting ready as she had not arrived yet.

“ I’m going early, but I’ll come to get you.” He stated this without glancing in my direction at all. It’s hard for me to comprehend that sometimes he behaves coldly, yet other times he seems to show concern toward me.

Why am I even thinking about him when I should focus on getting revenge back at Alpha? I pushed the thoughts away.

“Ms. Sia, you are still not dressed for the event! Please choose a dress as soon as possible.” When Liza came in, I was walking towards the bed to look at the dress, and when I did, I decided on a black dress with off-shoulders and a stunning v-neck. It’s a comfortable fit that covers a negligible amount without making it seem untidy or odd. The dress’s loose sleeves provide a casual touch.

Narrow waist, flowy dress. It’s unadorned with an elegant, flowing effect. Below the core, the garment is tiered. The garment is the same length around and touches my knees.

“Ms. Sia, you look stunning. I don’t believe you need a lot of make-up, so I’ll apply light make-up,” Liza said.

Internally, I am not interested in attending this party. Still, I am anxious about what Luna Maura will do to me, since she slaughtered the enslaved people in wrath, demonstrating that she is not in her right mind. But there’s no way I can sit in the room scared of her; I have to face her no matter what.

Liza made my green eyes enchanted and light nude pink lipstick while leaving mid-length brown hair down. Liza gave me pumps and heels, and I wore them as I applied the fragrance. “You look fantastic, Ms. Sia” Liza grinned pleasantly as her make-up skills made me seem ready to go to the party, but I didn’t want to remain in the bloodshed pack.

A knock came. When Liza opened the door, Alpha Xavier stood in the door frame. His stare went from head to toe, and his warmth made my heart skip a beat. His onyx eyes felt like they kept stroking my skin from a distance, as if he wanted me out of it.

“Ms” Liza’s voice helped me break out of the Dazed, and Alpha snarled at Liza’s voice. She flinched at the sound of Alpha.

“Liza, thank you for everything. You may leave.” I said as she left quickly. He stared at the jewel around my neck that he had given me. I wore it because it looked excellent with the black dress.

“Let us leave; we’re already late.” Alpha extended his hand out to me. I took his hand.

The festive atmosphere greeted my eyes; I also felt anxious as so many eyes gazed at me as we entered the party. Alpha’s haughty demeanor is back in the place “I don’t care” attitude.

My eyes went to none other than Luna, who donned a lovely outfit and a moon cress half-crown to display her might.

However, the circle of ladies surrounding Luna Maura breaks apart as they notice our presence, and Maura’s stare meets mine with a menacing expression. I sighed inside, knowing what was about to happen.

I felt a little squeeze on my hand from Alpha, and I glanced at Alpha Xavier, whose attention was looking straight ahead to the coven wolf that scowled at us, and Alpha Xavier didn’t hold any emotion on his face. I, too, felt the weight of the stares, but I kept my feelings under control.

“Xavier.” Maura’s beautiful voice and phony grin arrived as she approached us.

“You wanted me to deliver the pack’s speech?” He nodded in response.

“Go ahead, Maura. Pack members are waiting for your speech.” Alpha’s voice froze, not waiting for her to continue speaking and urging me to walk away with him. I saw Maura’s face was expressionless. For a brief second, I could see a death glare. I will have to do with counting glares tonight rather than the stars in the night sky.

Alpha presented me to a few individuals as a concubine, which made me feel even more pitiful, but it showed that he cared about me and greatly interested me.

I watched Jia and Nas enter the party together, and seeing Jia’s face brought comfort to my heart. Nas placed a protective hand on Jia, who seemed uncomfortable; I have been familiar with this sensation since I experienced it myself. At the same time, the eyes are scanning Jia.

I couldn’t eat or drink as if I were being watched like a hawk, and Alpha Xavier didn’t leave me even for a minute. Luna’s power dimmed because the Alpha's attention was on me, making her look like she was seated on the sidelines, and she continued staring at me. This is glare number ninety-nine from Luna. I counted.

The other brown-haired woman on the right has already sent sixty glares. Counting glares was my pastime.

“Why are you being so quiet?” Alpha’s voice forced me to look at him despite my best efforts to avoid looking at him.

“Alpha, there is nothing to say,” I said.

“ I need to use the bathroom.” He nods, and I finally attempt to get away from Alpha, but I don’t understand why I’m experiencing worry and tightness in my chest.

As I went into the washroom, I saw Luna Maura. And her grin on her pale complexion made my skin crawl, and her brown eyes had a spark of horror as she approached me while flicking her black hair back.

“So, you are the white moon slave, Staying in my spouse’s chamber.” She spoke as the grasp of her fingers on my jawline was tighter, and I couldn’t fight the power of Luna Maura since she is a she-wolf, and I am human because of this f*****g slave ring on my hand.

“Do you believe you can walk out of here on two feet?” Her grin widened when she realized my wolf was not with me, since her eyes had already caught sight of the slave ring on my finger. f**k, I am dead.
