“How was work?” Kellan asked Porter as all seven of them huddled in their living room while watching the Asian Games. Porter shrugged. “Same old stuffs. Boring.” He replied nonchalantly while his eyes are still on the television. To be honest, his work as a supervisor is routinely. He would check on the stocks of the previous deals and make a report about it. After that, he’ll just have to ask his secretary about his agenda for the day and then poof! He’s done. This kind of work never really kept Porter interested. Hunter snickered. “Well, we don’t really know what interests you, Porter.” He told him. “You don’t like girls. You don’t like work. You don’t like anything at all.” He finished making the other members laugh at him. Porter glared at Hunter and sighed to himself as he continued to watch on the screen. Well, Hunter’s words are true. Porter doesn’t like girls – or rather, he doesn’t seem to get interested in girls. He has high standards – super high standards that no one would ever reach. He doesn’t really enjoy working and he just does that so that his mom wouldn’t make him come back home and inherit their business. So, yeah, what really interests him? Porter shook his head when Janine’s pissed face flashbacked to his mind. The answer is: pissing Janine Kwon. From the moment that he laid his eyes on her at the office after the traffic incident, he already knew. His mission was to piss her. His mission was to make her day stressful. Can you believe it if Porter goes to work because of Janine Kwon? In every office day, he is looking forward to pissing her more than he did the past day. And by the looks of Janine’s expressions, he knows that he is succeeding. “Porter!” Serge beamed. Porter looked at Serge with a pissed expression. “What?!” He snapped. Serge rolled his eyes. “We’ve been talking about going out to eat. Are you coming?” He asked. “I’ve been asking you for a number of times already!” He whined. “How many really is your ‘a number of times’?” Porter muttered to himself as he followed the boys out the pod. Hell, he’s too bored. He’s wishing it’s tomorrow already. -- “Good morning, Janine!” Jonas beamed at her as she walked to the office on a bright sunny beautiful day. Janine smiled brightly. “Good morning!” She hummed as she walked to her spot with a huge smile. It’s been a while since she actually felt this happy. She didn’t know why. She just knew that she was happy the moment she opened her eyes. “Having a good morning, eh?” Yasmin beamed at her as she took her seat. Janine chuckled and nodded then she went on to turn her computer on. Yasmin leaned to her. “Let me guess,” she beamed again. “Johann?” She asked with a meaningful smile. Janine smiled wider and shook her head. She talked to Johann a few hours ago and she was happy because Johann showed her how he performed on the exams. It’s funny how she’s the one who’s monitoring Johann’s academic performance rather than his parents. But anyway, she was happy because he did good. “I knew it!” Yasmin cheered. “Of course, no one would make Janine Kwon’s day perfect other than the man of her life.” She continued. All the employees in the office laughed at Yasmin and Janine. They all actually know about Janine’s relationship with Johann and they are all happy for her. Perfect couple, what can they even say or complain? And besides, they all know how the two love each other. All they are waiting right now is for Johann to come home and propose to Janine and their happily ever after will officially start. Janine smiled wide and started doing her unfinished Wu Entertainment business proposal. She almost got it. The only thing she’s worried is the way that she would present it. How could she make it really different from others? How could she make her presentation unique? She was so into her business proposal that she didn’t even notice that their supervisor has come and he’s glaring at her because she’s the only one who didn’t greet him. “Janine,” Yasmin nudged her. Janine looked up from the screen to her friend. “What?” She asked. Yasmin pointed at L who was looking Janine’s way wearing his devil’s stare. “He might be waiting for your greeting.” She whispered. Janine looked at L and rolled her eyes. “Why would I even greet him? I’m not obliged to greet him.” She replied then she got back to what she was doing – completely shrugging L off. Porter gritted his teeth as he looked at Janine but the latter won’t even budge. Heck, Janine Kwon is known for her strong principles. If she said she wouldn’t, she really wouldn’t. Sorry, Mr. Supervisor. Janine’s work was halted when L suddenly called everyone’s attention. Everyone looked at him, listening attentively. Porter cleared his throat. “I know that you are aware of the coming MT and Team Building. It’s posted on our bulletin a week ago.” He started and everyone grew excited – even Janine. Every 6 months, their department is conducting an MT and Team building to strengthen their bond as employees and co-workers. Last time, they all went to Jeju for a resort hopping with Mr. Song, their previous supervisor. It was one of the best MT’s they have been through because Mr. Song prepared his life for it since it’s his last MT with the team. Now, everyone is looking forward to how Porter would launch their MT. It could be different, since there is a huge gap between his age and Mr. Song’s. This has got to be youthful, right? Everyone was eager to listen. “I was informed that the former theme of your MT is beach or resorts since it was from summer.” Porter continued. “So, right now, I’ve decided to make a different set up.” Everyone got even more excited. A different theme would be amazing. Porter grinned. “I hope you all watch Laws of the Jungle because we’re going on a camping-themed membership training.” He announced and all the male employees hailed in triumph. They have been waiting for this moment because they have always wanted to live like the natives in the jungle. However, it’s a different scenario for the females in the room. Most of them are not interested, some of them are torn while one of them doesn’t care. “It will be on Saturday next week.” Porter continued to announce. “Every single one of you is obliged to come.” He pointed a finger and looked at the females. “No appearance means no work for a week that also means no wages for a week.” The girls groaned in disapproval. Porter smiled. “See you there.” He beamed and then he went back to reviewing the stocks. Yasmin sighed. “I thought we’ll be having another resort hopping!” She whined quietly in her seat. Janine looked at her. “Yasmin, it’s almost winter. No one goes to the beach on a cold weather.” She beamed. Yasmin sighed and pouted. “Well, you’re right.” She beamed back. “But it really irks me that we have to go camping and I can’t even last a day without electricity.” She continued to protest quietly. “Then tell him that you don’t want to come.” Janine told her. Yasmin rolled her eyes. “Are you kidding me? I don’t want to be suspended for a week!” She chimed. Janine smiled. “Then just go. Maybe it’s not that bad.” She beamed. Yasmin sighed and went back to her work. Janine chuckled to herself. Maybe not that bad, my ass. Of course everything that includes Porter Kim in it is something that’s bad. Who’s Janine kidding? “Janine Kwon,” L called. Janine shut her eyes in frustration. When will there be a day that their ‘Almighty’ Supervisor wouldn’t be calling her name and bossing her around? Ha! Janine would kill to live that day. “Janine Kwon,” he repeated. Janine sighed to herself and walked to Porter’s desk with a heavy heart. Well, how could she not? She’s just too pissed by hearing Porter’s mere voice. Porter looked at her looking so depressed. “Why is your face like that?” He asked. Janine sighed and smiled in order for him to stop asking questions and just get to business. Porter rolled his eyes and handed her a list. Janine narrowed her eyes on L then on the list. What is the meaning of this?! Don’t tell me- “We’re going on a camping stuff shopping after work.” L told her. Janine scoffed and almost laughed at what she heard. “What?! Us?!” She asked in disbelief. What in the world is L even thinking? How can she just ask her to go on shopping with him? Porter gave her a sharp look. “You heard me, Janine Kwon.” He replied stoically. Janine gave a bitter smile. “You can just ask your secretary to accompany you.” She beamed, defying L once more. Porter raised his brow. “I don’t want to.” He replied in emphasis of each word. Janine scoffed at him. “Me, too. I don’t want to!” She beamed back. Talking to him with merely a sentence even irks her whole being, what more if she spends some time with him for shopping? The world would end! Janine slammed the list on Porter’s desk and turned his back on him. However, when she was about to take one step… “It’s either you come with me voluntarily or I’ll drag you with me by force. You choose. Either way, you’re coming with me to that freaking camping shopping thing.” L beamed. Janine’s eyes narrowed as she looked back at L who’s now standing with his head c****d to the other side and arms crossed across his chest. She wanted to rip his smirk off of his face. If she only could. Since when has someone ordered her like this? All the employees are watching their heated up conversation. All of them are shocked at how L is so into making Janine come with him. Janine knew that everyone’s eyes are on them right now. She sighed hard and shut her eyes. “Fine.” She muttered against her will. Porter smirked. He knew it would work on her. “Good decision.” He beamed. “See you later, Ms. Kwon.” He flashed his bright but evil smile. Janine knew that it was just pure evil. Heck, Porter is the epitome of evilness. Spawn of the devil, what can she say? Janine walked to her desk and plopped herself on the chair pissed. Can she be sick so she can absent herself from work and not get scolded? One day without Porter would be perfect. Janine took a deep breath before going back to what she’s working on wishing that this won’t end so there wouldn’t be a shopping time to happen. -- “Aren’t you done yet?” Porter asked Janine. He’s been watching her for about 30 minutes now and she’s still not done. He glared at her. Is she doing this on purpose? Janine shook her head as she furiously typed on the keyboard. Porter sighed and rolled his eyes as he walked towards her. “What part are you in?” He asked as he peeked on her monitor. She’s not even in the body yet and she’s been doing this proposal for days already! He sighed to himself. “Let me help you.” He beamed as he pushed Janine’s hands aside and pulled a chair to sit in front of Janine’s monitor. Janine was shocked at what L is doing but when she saw how he started typing really good sentences on the document, she was awed. So, he’s really good. At least the rumors aren’t just rumors. “When are you going to present this?” L asked her but his eyes are on the monitor and his fingers are busy typing. “Next week.” Janine replied. Porter was typing then he stopped and looked at Janine whose face is just inches from him. Janine’s eyes widened. She’s not used to this closeness. Porter blinked as he looked into her eyes. Hell, why did he feel his heart skip a beat?
