Chapter 7
Adam was sweating by the time he had finished checking on the residence in the forest area. Many residents had seemed safe and well supplied for the storm making his job easier. He went above, and beyond clearing front porches for them like he had Rachel’s, so they weren’t barricaded in their home. A few had stubbornly waited too long to get supplies and didn’t have enough food to wait out the storm. Adam made sure they had food, water, and blankets to last them until the roads could be cleared. A few locals with plows had volunteered to assist with the cleanup.
