Rachel took a deep breath once she entered the lawyer’s office. She had practically run from Adam’s truck to the office doors and felt winded. The cold had been a factor in that decision, but mostly she had almost confessed to Adam about her past with her dad. She almost told him the type of person the man was. What was wrong with her? Adam wouldn’t believe her. No one could believe he was a sick and twisted man that got off on hurting people.
