Ella's POV

What!

Don't tell me you want us to actually go, I have already planned everything for your bachelorette party," Alex screamed out.

“I don't see the problem, it's an all-expense-paid trip to a luxurious island. What can be better than that," Olivia rolled her eyes?

“Well, my party could be better than that, and if you all want to go to an island I can make that happen," Alex smirked.

Why bother yourself when Arthur has already done that," Sasha smiled at Alex?

“Ugh, you shouldn't all do this to me," Alex groaned in frustration.

Alex, relax while you can still plan your party, but it will have to be on the island," Mandy said as she sipped her wine.

I can't believe you guys... Really," Alex frowned as she downed the contents of her glass immediately.

I think it's a great idea... the Island sounds fun," Ava smiled and Alex was really not having it.

So it is decided we are going to the Island to have an amazing time before Ella's big day," Sasha let out, smiling.

“Thank you girls," I smiled and said, while ignoring Alex, who was signalling for me to do or say something,

I still can't believe that Arthur actually gave you such an extravagant gift," Mandy said.

Yeah. That's true, you are really lucky Ella. Not all men would do this," Olivia let out with a smile on her face.

“Yeah... Arthur is perfect, he is everything to me," I smiled.

I know, it's obvious girl, you are glowing," Sasha smirked.

“And to think you were the one that never wanted to give him a chance before," Mandy giggled and I blushed.

Thank goodness you forgot all about that good-for-nothing Liam," Sasha said as she sighed heavily.

But I still can't believe that you are getting married," Olivia screamed as she pulled me into a hug and soon all the girls came to hug me as well, well except for Alex who was still angry that she couldn't get to throw her awesome party,

“So when are we leaving," Ava asked.

“Well, that ticket is showing in 3 days," I smiled and said.

We are going to have so much fun," the girls screamed in unison.

A day before the trip

The girls were super excited about the trip, that they had to drag me along for every shopping trip that they made, to buy things that they might need for the trip.

I loved them, and I was happy that they were excited, but at the same time I was exhausted.

But the only thing that kept me going was the fact that I would finally get the chance to get loose for a while before my big day.

“I still can't believe you are going along with this Ella," Alex said with a huge frown on her face as we stepped into her apartment.

“It's going to be fun," I chuckled softly as I dropped my bag.

Well I don't like it," Alex said, frowning.

That's not new. You don't like most things these days," I let out, giggling softly.

Alex huffed as she stomped into the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of wine.

Looking at her, I knew she was still mad that she wouldn't be able to throw me a party, and as my best friend, I knew I had to apologize for that.

“Hey... You know as his future wife, I couldn't refuse his gift... I'm sorry," I whispered softly.

Well, that is what you were supposed to do... Refuse !" She huffed as she downed the contents of her glass

Trust me, we are going to have so much fun and you can also throw me a party there as well," I said, smiling as I tried to pacify her.

Yeah... I know, but it wouldn't be the same. I had so many things planned for your bachelorette party," Alex frowned.

”Yeah, I know that and I love you for that, okay, you are the best friend any girl could ever ask for," I smiled as I pulled her to myself.

Yeah, alright I know that already," she smiled softly.

“Good... I should actually be going back to start getting ready for the trip. I have a lot to pack,' I smiled.

Yeah okay, I should pack as well. I don't want to go, but right now I know I don't have a choice and I can't let you have all the fun," Alex smirked and I kissed her goodbye.

Within minutes I was back home, the excitement about the trip was on a new high and it soon had me dancing around the house happily.

My life couldn't be any better right now, and at that moment, I felt nothing could ever go wrong. I was on cloud nine.

A few months ago, if anyone had told me that this would be my life, then I would definitely not have believed them.

After Liam, I thought I was done. I thought I would never find true happiness again, but Arthur changed all that for me.

Right now, I was marrying the man that I loved, and I was also going on a trip to a luxurious island.

What could be better than that," I smiled to myself.

I started packing what I needed for the trip, humming a song as I packed with a huge smile on my face.

Soon I felt a hand snake around me, and I knew instantly who it was.

His smell was unique and I could recognize it anywhere.

“Hey Beautiful," Arthur whispered into my ear.

Smiling... I turned around with excitement on my face as I kissed his lips softly.

Maybe Arthur noticed because he asked

“Hey, what's wrong?"

“I'm just going to miss you so much," I whispered with a frown on my face.

But instead of Arthur saying something, he just pulls me to himself again.

But this time, his embrace felt different. I don't know what it was, but it felt strange .

It felt like he was holding me for the very last time.

like I was never going to see him again .
