"what is my brother like jordy?" I asked her, we might have bounded when doing our tour

"He is nice, tall and hot" she said the last part dreamy. I signed but am nervous, we got to the living room and am shocked to the bone to find that my stepbrother is the Thompson CEO and also my crush.

Gosh what am I gonna do? Should I run to my room and lock the door or should go to the restroom first and seek Tina ridiculous advice God I can use those advice now maybe I could just face him it not like he is going to bit. I heard someone call my name and I realised I have a panic look on my face I turn to jordy telling her that am good just a little nervous.

"Don't worry he will like you he is a nice guy, Lia? jordy encouraged me, something that I really need right now.

" when did you bring up the nickname jordy?" I said smiling at her going into the living room and making my presence know.

"There you are dear come meet your brother" my mom said not knowing the battle going on in my mind at the moment. I sit beside her and turn to my saviour/crush and keeping my face neutral I said a small hi which he acknowledged with a single nod by the look of it he does not remember me anymore or he is just feigning ignorance. But it pained me that he does not talk to me.

"we are eating dinner out to celebrate our new family, what do you guys think? Damon asked,my mom said it a good idea, I excuse myself to my room to talk to Tina. I unlock my phone and clicked on my best friend name

*hi Tina* I greeted her

*hey how you doing have you meet your new family*she replied almost immediately which made me think she have been waiting for my message and that brought a smile to my face

*you won't believe who my new family is especially my step brother*

after shopping for hours I was tired and just wanted to go home. Shopping with Tina is like a torture. I didn't look at where am heading as I collide with a guy and he caught me before I could face face first on to the floor . I apologise but he said it okay and he left.

"the most eligible bachelor and Thompson CEO just touch Amelia God I can't believe this, how does his hand feel" Tina squeaked am I missing something.

"wait, wait am I missing something here the what?"

" the Thompson CEO and the most eligible bachelor was that guy dont tell me you don't know him are you evening on social media at all" she said giving me a disapproving glare

"so that guy that just save me is the Thompson CEO and he is sooooo sweet" since then have had a crush him

I got up from my bed to get ready so I picked my dress and fresh underwear and laid them on the bed then got into the shower when am sure all the sweat is washed off I step out of the shower and dry my body, I did my makeup simple and I let my hair down and I step into my simple evening gown it not too much to make it look like I over did it and it not too simple to make it look like am less relevant when am satisfied with my look I slip on my sandals and took my my phone.

I got to the living room to see Carlisle and Damon ready but my mom is no where to be seen maybe she is still getting ready I greet them and sat on a cushion

"where is mom" I asked Damon.

"she is in the room getting ready" I nodded

"why don't you and Carlisle get along while I go check on your mom" what! he is leaving me alone with him I almost beg him to stay but I keep shut. There is a thick silence when he left which am not willing to break. I caught Carlisle steal a glance or two at my side but nothing more my mom and Damon came down together looking like the perfect couple and I was admiring them untill they drop the bombshell

"you and your brother will go in his car while I and your mom go together, is that okay?" Damon asked and Carlisle look annoyed

"why can't she go with you dad" he asked his Voice showing irritation God even though it a different situation but his voice almost made me melt. Amelia get a grip on yourself he is your brother and that no way to think of one brother blood or not! I scold myself mentally.

"we want you guys to bond so she is going in your car no question" Damon said sternly making me gulp and wondering if his son hate me God I don't want to go in his car.
