Alexander’s thunderous voice caused Andrew to step back a little. "Excuse me, sir." He said. "This is basically red beans and rice." Alexander said, glaring at the food with disdain. "And what are all these extras inside?" Silence fell. Surprised by Andrew’s silence, he looked up and pressed on. "I can’t believe I wasted my time coming here. How do you expect Henderson Group to franchise this restaurant because of this thing that someone can actually get anywhere?" "It has a different taste. I used a different recipe. To be honest, if I could get people to taste this delicacy, I wouldn’t have to come to Henderson Group to partner with them. I need the audience, that’s why." Andrew defended. Alexander’s gaze went round. "Who would even want to eat in this dead building?" "Sir, I am sorry to say, but not everyone has it easy like you." Andrew said, refusing to be intimidated by him. Leaping to his feet, he scoffed. "I am out of here!" "Sir, why don’t you just taste it, at least? One spoon wouldn’t hurt, would it?" Elizabeth spoke quickly. coming to Andrew’s rescue yet again. He darted his gaze toward Elizabeth. "You think so?" Elizabeth swallowed and nodded her head in response. Leering at the food, Alexander slouched on the chair. He doesn’t know how or why, but he tends to listen to whatever advice Elizabeth offers. picking up a spoon and digging it inside the food, he muttered. "Just one spoon." His intention was to eat just one spoon and get out of there, but after eating the first one, he ate another one. He continued savoring the food until the plate became empty. The taste of the food was surprisingly mouthwatering and scrumptious. What was supposed to be just one spoon turned out to be multiple spoons. Elizabeth and Andrew widened their eyes as they watched him savor the food, her face lighting with impish glee. Alexander cleared his throat when he finally finished. "First of, I want to apologize for talking about the food in a disrespectful manner." He lifted a glass of water and took a gulp. "This is a pure work of art." "So…?" Andrew asked, gazing at Alexander, nervously waiting for him to continue. He took another gulp of water. "It will be at our own loss if we don’t franchise this restaurant." "Is that a yes?" Andrew asked. "We would have to do something about the furnishing of this building." Alexander said, as his gaze went round. He returned his gaze to Andrew, and a smile stretched across his lips. "Congratulations, Mr. Andrew." "Thank you, sir!" Andrew beamed as he bowed his head repeatedly. "Thank you very much, sir." He was extremely happy and full of joy.
