Chapter 5

Becker A week. No, almost a week. A week after I came back from the base and a week after I encountered the mysterious yet lovely Amber Queen. A week after that woman screwed up my mind.  Why the heck? How the f**k a woman made me feel this way? I thought I needed a laid but I was not interested. f*****g my hands didn’t do anything. Amber came as my imaginary p***y. That blondie f****d me up terribly. I tried to avoid her. I remembered she always ran in the morning and since I met her again the next day, I took Zeus out for a walk an hour later than usual. I acted like a p***y now. “Damn it,” I cursed which earned me a wet tongue all over my face. Zeus licking my face. “Hey, buddy. I’m all right, okay?” I said while rubbing his sweet spot; his neck. Would Amber like it to when I was stroking her delicious neck? Son of a b***h, Shaw! Knock it off! I turned on my car where Zeus suddenly barked. “Zeus, stop.” He kept on barking. Seeing him setting his attention to the front. I was praying it was not Amber.  As I directed my head to look at something that caught my boy’s attention, a blondie woman was there. Not Amber though. But a woman who looked like her, especially that blonde hair. “Zeus, that’s not Amber.” And like my words digested into his mind, he stopped shouting. The woman seemed to realize she was the center of the attention as I waved my hand and she only smiled. Oh, man. I looked at Zeus and asked, “Do you miss her, boy?” He looked at me. Yep, he missed her.  This was ridiculous. We only met three times yet the woman managed to slip into Zeus’ heart. And mind. s**t, get a grip, Becker. I didn’t need a woman.  …Becker… “f*****g bastard!” I cursed again and without thinking, punching the pedal away from my workplace. I grabbed my iPhone and dialed Shane’s.  “Hey, man? What’s up?” “I need a few drinks. Care to join?” “Ah, I have to turn down your offer. I’ve promised to take Tiffany out for a dinner.” Oh, okay. I didn’t have the heart to ruin their night. Shane, pass. “Okay, have fun.” Ending the call immediately. Well, it was not like I couldn’t go without Shane.  That’s it. I needed a woman tonight. Just one f**k at the hotel and go home.  Once I reached my house, me and Zeus entered and I turned on the lights. Where should I go tonight? The bar where Amber worked was the only thing that popped into my mind. Was she working tonight? She was the bouncer so, of course, she would be there. But there should be a chance we won’t meet. She was working and she had no time to take care of my ass. Okay, I decided. I would just go there, get some drinks, and hopefully, I could get someone.  Looking to the front, seeing Zeus was drinking his water as I approached him. Crouching in front of him, “Hey, Zeus? I’m going out tonight. Be a good boy, okay? I’ll be back quite late than usual.” He barked once. I was so lucky to have him. Zeus was a smart boy and he always guarded my house perfectly.  Later on, I took a quick shower and got some dinner for me and Zeus. Eating Mac n Cheese while watching some news. Nothing special lately. My father called me before I went to shower, asking how was I doing after a week of retirement. Unlike me, dad was still working in the office. We were just alike. Unable to stay quiet and would go crazy if we didn’t do anything. He was sixty-one but every day he acted like he was still in his twenties. My phone chimed again. Jeez, what did he want again? Without looking at the name before, I connected the call. “What now, dad?” “Becker?” Ah, s**t! Why I didn’t bother to see who was calling first. You were a moron, Shaw.  “Mother,” I calmly addressing her even though all I wanted was to tell her to f**k off.  “How are you doing lately?” Even asking the same question as dad. Were they not together when he phoned me?  “Good. I’m enjoying my life out of the military. Change of air. It’s nice.” “I’m happy to hear that.” Yeah, happy. “Anything else, Mother?” “Are you with someone now?” “Yes,” I replied without thinking. “I have to go now.” Ended the call before letting her ask something that might be will make me regret it for the rest of my life. “f**k!” I slammed the phone on the table, surprising Zeus. “Oh, I’m so sorry, buddy.” And he returned eating his favorite beef. Damn it. Yeah, I definitely needed booze and extra spice from a warm p***y tonight. No one would refuse me. When the clock hit ten, I grabbed my black jacket. “Take care of the house for me, okay? I’ll be back soon.” I kissed Zeus’ head and left the house. Driving my Shelby to the bar where Amber was. Praying I won’t see her tonight.  Just like before, the bar was already packed with people. I entered and immediately went to the bar. One spot left. Lucky. “Hey, Becker,” Dom greeted. “Alone tonight?” “Yeah. Where’s Gail?” “She’s with her parents tonight. It’s her mom’s birthday.” “I see.” “Blue Moon?” I smiled. “Sure.” He immediately remembered my favorite. After Dom gave me the bottle and a glass, I scanned the place. Would I get someone as easy as I was tonight? No strings attached. The one who only wanted the same as me; a mindless f**k for the night. Call me overconfident but I knew how to satisfy a lady in bed. And I won’t let any of them felt displeased. She reached her orgasm. I had my fill. Done. “Alone, Mister?” a woman appeared next to me. Peeking to the side, seeing a woman, probably around her twenties, brunette hair. Her legs were not too long but those were okay. Perfect.  “I am. You?” “Me too. A Mojito,” she asked Dom. Her blue eyes were on me. I knew this woman wanted me straight away. Lust was written on her orbs. How readable and too easy. Unlike Amber. Motherfucker! Forget about her, Shaw. Dom put the Mojito in front of her before he left where she confessed, “I was looking at you since last week.” Last week? I smirked. “You were eying me the entire time?” “I was. You never came here again but I’m lucky, tonight you showed up.” “You chose the right night.” She giggled. More like she was giggling to grab my attention. Whatever. I just needed her for tonight and she could look for someone else tomorrow.  She moved closer to me. “I’m Daphne.” “Becker.” “Becker. I like that. Can we go out right after a drink? Just the two of us.” “I would love to.” We were about to kiss until… “Daphne!” someone called her. She immediately looked back. I followed and saw a man with curly black hair.  “Tony.” Both of their faces were pale as the wall. Ah, I knew where this was going.  This man was her boyfriend. s**t. “What the f**k are you doing? You said you were staying over at your friend’s house, not hunting a man.” Tony had his eyes on me. “The woman is with me, asshole.” “Well then, fetch her up and discipline her then.” Daphne had her eyes back to me. “You want me, Becker.” “I was. I’m no relationship destroyer. Go back to your owner, will you?”  Tony pulled her down from her stool as Daphne struggled. “You cheated on me first!” she screamed. “I did not! What the f**k you wanted to do with him?!” “To teach you some lesson for messing around with me!” Oh, boy. Lovers’ quarrel. Something I refused to watch even listened to.  Until the voice I desperately wanted to forget, “Excuse me,” appeared behind me. God-f*****g-damn it. “Will you take it outside and not bother other customers’ lovely time?” Glancing behind, seeing her standing right at my back wearing a white shirt and black jeans. “Hey, Amber. Thanks for telling me about this,” Tony thanked her. Um, what? Daphne’s mouth was opened wide. “What the f**k?! Damn you, Amber! What the hell!” she cursed at Amber’s face as Tony pulled her away from us.  Amber began turning around. No. No. Just f**k no! And her cold emerald eyes were on me. “You okay?” “Yeah.” She smiled. “That’s too bad, huh?” “What is?” “You wanted to f**k her before her boyfriend appeared.” “Well, I didn’t know she has a boyfriend and she seduced me first.” “I saw that.” Oh? “Were you watching me?” “Tony asked me to tell him if I saw his girlfriend because he had this feeling that Daphne was lying to him and cheating behind his back. And she almost did with you. Coincidentally, she was with you so yeah, you were around my watchful eyes.” “Wow. I’m honored. Is that the part of your job as a bouncer?” “Sometimes. No drama in the bar, that’s one of my job descriptions.” She leaned her elbow on the bar table, her perfume immediately entered my nostrils. Jesus, what she was wearing? She smelled divine and inviting. “I haven’t seen you for a morning run lately.” “I’m working with Tiffany now so I don’t need to take Zeus for a run too long.” “Or you don’t want to see me.” Home run. “Why do I have to do that?” Calm down, Becker.  She hit another home run when she said, “Because you’re interested in me.” I scoffed. Almost too quick. More like I was laughing at myself because she could read me too easily.  “You’re too cocky, woman.” “So are you.” Our eyes bounded. Challenging. Want. Need. Amber was showing me what she wanted from me. This woman wanted me. And she moved forward slowly, in a calculating way, our lips were merely inches away. One of us moved and it would be the end for us. “You want me, soldier. And it annoys you a lot because you can’t get me away from your mind,” she breathed. Welcoming the baseball ball direct to my gut.  “How can you tell?” “I’ve reminded you before to never look at me that way.” “You keep staring at me too and don’t want to stay away.” She smirked. How come her smirk sounded so sexy?  “You are just going to get hurt, Becker.” “I’m not interested in a relationship.” “So am I.” My eyebrows jumped. She mirrored my movement.  “f**k this.” I wrapped my arm around her back, feeling her boobs on my chest. She would never have the upper hand. I was always in control and I loved being in control. “You’re right. I do want you. You screwed up my mind for the past week and you have to take responsibility for that.” “I’m working now and I hold the code to not f*****g anyone during my shift.” “Don’t worry, lady. I have plenty of time to wait for you.” “Does your d**k synchronize with you?” she seductively asked while ghostly rubbing my jeans. My d**k was fully awake now and ready to burst.  “Of course.” And she giggled. “I’ll be finished in four hours.” “I’ll wait for you.” I let her go. Seeing her walking away from me while my eyes remained latched on that gorgeous ass of hers.
