CHAPTER 12
Two hours later after a slow drive through the track Travis was worried, not by seeing anything dangerous or strange around but by the complete lack of it. Nothing had changed! The thick forest and creeper still hugged the side of the dirt verge, the footprints were still present and every bend led to more of the same.
"We need to stop, Travis." Jacey also sounded worried.
"Why?"
"It's all wrong."
"The same scenery outside, you mean?"
"I know." Susan leaned forward to speak to them both. "It is not only similar but is exactly the same. I think we are driving in a gigantic circle. Nearly all the turns we've made are to the right and every time we come to another long straight it is followed by yet another right hand curve."
