ELLA'S POV
I sucked in a breath and spun around on my heels, and headed back to my room but my legs suddenly became too heavy for me to lift. I let out a shaky breath, panic seeped into every of my bones.
“What the hell is happening to me?” I muttered under my breath. My muscles felt like lead was stuffed into them.
‘Get yourself together Ella. I got this…I got you.’ my wolf assured me. Till now, I've always learnt about how one's wolf communicated with their human form during wolverine studies, but it really felt good to hear her, to feel her inside of me. Suddenly, I felt a surge of strength, and I walked back into the room with hurried steps.
I made my way towards the door to shut it, before they made their way to my room. Good thing I had no plans to be at the school dance, this would be a justifiable reason to sit it out. Although, no one was ever going to find out my reason, I'd rather go through the rest of my entire school year in torture than let those jerks mark me or let them get a whiff of my scent.
‘They’re Lycans Ella, they're going to find out.’
My hands curled round the doorknob when it suddenly flung open. I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact of the metallic door against my face, but the next time I opened my eyes, a gasl escaped the corner of my lips.
I was at the extreme end of the suite, and I had no idea how I'd gotten to that spot. That wasn't the only thing that shocked me, Cathy Mendelez and her underlings had barged into my suite.
“What the hell do you want here?” I seethed.
She gawked, and flipped her curly hair over her shoulders. “That's not a good way to welcome your guest…Ella.” Her voice was so evenly calm I could miss the tone of anger that dripped in her voice.
I swallowed. “I don't remember asking you here.”
She arched her brows, crossing her hands over her chest. “Sadly, you have no right to tell me out of here and you know it.”
The corner of my lips hitch up as I stared keenly at her. “Cathy, get out my suite, this minute.” I blurted out. For the love of me, I didn't know where that came from and I honestly didn't care. If that would stop her from being such a b***h.
Cathy went utterly still. “What did you just say to me!”
“Um,Cathy, she said you should get the hell out of her suite.” one of her underlings responded, in a strangely high-pitched tone.
Cathy turned, hissing at the girl, before she turned to face me with a scowl. “Ella. Ella. Ella. You think I would let you have an opportunity with the heirs?”
I blew out air, my chest twisted when my images of the heirs coursed through my mind. “I would pass on anything that has to do with the Lycan heirs.” I clenched the edge of my robe, to fight back the urge that consumed me when I mentioned their names.
Cathy tilted her head to the side and studied me for a bit before she said, “Yeah, I know how much you hate the Lycan heirs. Just to be sure…” She raised her fingers to her lips and blew casually over it. “We—” She paused and grimaced, “I have to make sure, you don't get to go on their date.”
My stomach churned and the urge to spill the content. I watched in horror as I watched her two underlings walk outside. By the time they came back inside, they were holding a fire extinguisher. I felt my wolf perk her head inside of me, waiting for the next line of action from them.
“See you next time or never, Ella.” Cathy spat and just then, one of her two minions, went to close the other while the other came up to my side.
Cathy's eyes darkened by two shades. “Tie her up.” She ordered.
