I rolled my eyes and laughed lightly. “Yes, I said ‘all-consuming.’” I pressed my lower body against his and was gratified to feel how hard he still was. “Seems to me, you were affected, as well.”
Adam moaned and slid his hands to my ass, pulling me hard against him. “What are you doing, Cooper? You’re killing me,” he ground out. “I’m trying to be a gentleman.”
The way Adam had kissed me had sent fire shooting from my head to my toes so I wasn’t surprised I’d been hard in seconds—but what did surprise me were the butterflies dancing low in my belly when Adam said he was trying to be a gentleman.
