I’d been wondering when he was going to ask that again. Cooper had seemed a little rattled since fainting and I had been worried about him. When Cooper had just assumed I was staying for dinner, I wasn’t sure what to think, but decided I needed to stay for a while. Not that spending time with Cooper was a hardship. Not at all. The guy was adorable.
I met his gaze and cleared my throat. “I’m Adam West.”
Cooper jumped up and rested his left hand on his hip. “I remember that part. But why are you here? Do you just go around rescuing men and their cats? I mean, I don’t see a cape—is it hidden? Isn’t that kind of weird?”
I held my hands out in front of me. “Whoa, Cooper.”
“And how do you know my name?”
