Chapter 9 - Mate

The next day he came back with few men.
" Hey, our Alpha and the healer is on the way, we will clean you up before you meet them." Ben said.
He said the healer? Was it Jane?
They opened the bars, and about to put a leash on our neck. Twinny growled to protest him.
" Twinny, don't fight, we need to get our self clean. Please.. "I really needed that shower. I knew how dirty we were. I can't even stand with our own smell.
And twinny started to calm down and let them put the least.
They brought us to a big building like 4 floor apartement, and we can see a lot of people in and out from the front door. We went straight into a room where 2 girls waitef for us there and they took us to the bathroom. The men stayed in the room waiting for us and guard us if there were anything bad will happen.
The 2 girls started to shower my wolf form. That felt so good, to get water all over your body, and then the shampoo? They smell so good. I would loved to be here for hours!
I can felt Twinny shook off her body to dried her fur, and the girls chuckled when they got wet from Twinny's water splash.
And then the two girls dried us with big towels and brushrd our fur. It was nice when someone brushed our fur gently and caressed for us.
'" What is this?" one of the girl ask to the other girl as she hold on my resin necklace.
Twinny growl at her and showing them our teeth. The girl let go of the necklace imidiately. I just realize we still wear the necklace with us. I thought I missed it with the rest of our clothes when we shift. I guess Joan make it big enough for my wolf form neck. It was a long chain necklace.
The girls brought us out from the messy bathroom to the room where 2 men waited for us. But Ben was not there anymore. We stopped at a standing mirror and Twinny turned to look at the mirror.
And I saw my wolf form in full displayed for the first time.
My wolf wasn't as big as Ben's wolf, but my fur was silver and blue, just like my own hair Ash blue. I would said it was cute with my blue eyes on it.
" Not bad?" Twinny asked me
" Not bad at all" I answered. I would love to have a pet like my wolf form. Oh God, a pet?
" Oh wow, look at you. Clean and fresh! " one of the man said.
" I'm Sam, Delta of the pack." he said as he brushed my fur with his hand.
" So you are actually silver wolf. " he said looking at my fur. Twinny barked, said yes.
I guess we were too dirty to let people know my real fur colour was.
" I'm going to take you to the main building, and you can wait for Jane there. She will be here in few hours." Sam said.
Oh great! They called Jane for us! I was so exciting, because with Jane help, I will be back to my human form. Wasn't that great? Gosh, I can't wait any longer!
" Did you hear that Twinny? Jane will be here! "
" Yeah, I know! "she answere shortly.
" But I have to take this for now. I' ll give it back to you when you meet joan" he said as he took off my necklace.
Twinny growled hard on him. The other man had to string the least to prevent us from attacking Sam.
" Calm down" he said" I'll give it to joan, okay? " Sam said.
" It's okay Twinny, we' ll meet Joan." I tried to soothe her. And she calm down.
And then sam and other man took us to other building.
Suddenly Twinny was getting so exciting as she jumping and whimpering.
I can smelled something strong than any other scent around me. Mint and woody.
" What is it Twinny? Why you acting like this?!" I asked her curious. Something make her so excited, like when a little girl walked into a candy bar store, or got a Teddy Bear doll.
" It's him. Our mate!" she said with so much excitement.
" Who? Sam?" I asked her. Sam was alright, but I didn't feel any bond with him. Twinny said mate were bonded.
" No, Not Sam! He is in the house. The scent." Twinny said. She was so eager to see him!
She was too exciting. And rushed to the building door. I can felt our tail wiggling and twinny whimpered and barked asking Sam to open the door for us.
" Hold on there, I'll open the door for you" Sam said when he saw my wolf rushed to the door and whimpered to let us in.
Sam open the door and my wolf rushed to go inside and sniffing the scent to a big door few meters in front of the entrance door.
" Wow! Wow! Not that way, this way!" Sam said as he tried to hold the least and dragged us to other direction.
But Twinny barked and pulled him to the big door. Sam and the other man tried to fight and dragged us to the other room.
But Twinny kept pushing and jumping and Sam lost the least and fell to the ground! Twinny run to the door, in time when someone opened the door.
Twinny keep running inside the room. I saw there were 3 man in the room, the first one was the one who opened the door, the other one is Ben I've already met, and the last one is in the chair by the desk. They all were standing when saw my wolf run inside.
My eyes looking at the man in the chair by the desk. He was tall, with black hair and fair skin, wearing black half rolled sleeve shirt and black jeans. I could tell he has a broad thick shoulder and well build muscle under that few unbutton shirt. And he had this mint and woody scent I'd been sense when we get close to the house.
" Mate! " I heard someone said, and it wasn't twinny. It was someone else in my head.

Miles Reid POV
I just got home from my business trip last night. I had a meeting with my Beta and Gamma this morning in my office after breakfast.
" So, tell me about this intruder." I said to Ben, my Beta. I had some report about an intruder in our village few days ago, but I wasn't really paying attention and let Ben decided what to do to the intruder, since Ben was in command in the village during my business trip.
" Like I told you before. The sentinel caught her on the river side almost at the border to the north village."
" Her?" I asked to make sure. Usually we caught a man or male wolf.
" Yes, it's a young female wolf." Ben said.
" Okay, so why you ask my permission to invite Jane? " I asked him, as I remembered Ben asked my permission to call for a healer to help the wolf.
" Apparently, this is her first time shift, and she has no one else to help her shift back. And she know Jane" Ben explained.
That's weird, because werewolf usually shift first time when we were 3.
" How old is she?" I asked him
" I don't know for sure, but her wolf is a young wolf. I assume she maybe 17 to early twenty. " Ben explained.
" Where is she from? What pack? " I asked Ben again, as I got interesting with this wolf.
" She doesn't belong to any pack. She is a no-mad." Ben explained to me. A no-mad?
" How could she doesn't have a pack at her young age? " I asked curiously. Doesnt she have a family or something?
" I have to shift to get the information about her, but her wolf didn't give me a lot of information. Her wolf said that she grown up in human family, that's why I asked your permission to call for Joan. She said she knew Joan and she had been looking for her. " Ben explained to me what he knew.
Raise in human family? How is it possible? How they kept her identity save without any human find out?
" Okay. When Jane came? " I was curious about her story. If she knew Jane, then Jane must knew about her.
Jane is a healer who lived in the next werewolf village few miles from our village.
" She is out town right now, but she already on her way. She should be here in few hours. " Ben reported
Suddenly I was distracted by this strong vanilla Musk scent. I sniffed and felt the scent was not far. My wolf was jumping around and barking, wiggling his tail and running around. He was so happy, and couldn't stayed quite.
And then I heard barking noise and Sam voice yelling on something. It was like my wolf barked back on the wolf outside.
"I'm going to check what's going on outside" Matt my Gamma said as he stood up from his chair and walked to the door.
Matt walked to the entrance door and opened it. The scent was getting stronger as I saw a silver wolf run inside my office and looked at my direction. My wolf was jumping in excitement.
And I just knew when I sensed her scent and I look into her eyes, that she was my mate the Goddess had gave me!
' Mate! ' I called her.
The last things that I know, I was laying in the floor and her wolf licking at my face. My wolf been stuggling to came out, but I tried to hold him inside me.
My wolf was too exciting to found our mate. And I can't let that happen either. When 2 wolf form met in excitement like this, who would be able to control what will happen next?
" Alright, alright" I said in amused, rubbing my mate smooth, beautiful and sweet fur with my hands.
She was too aggressive and excited for our first time encounter. And I was so excited to finally found her! I'd been looking for her for years!
" Get off of him" Sam suddenly came and pulled a least in her neck forcefully! I saw her growledand whimpered in pain.
" Stop it! You hurt her!" I yelled to Sam.
" But Alpha.." Sam tried to say something.
I growled at him. My wolf growled hard and almost took control knowing that our mate was hurt!
" Let her go or I swear I'll rip your throat! " I said in anger, growled and showed my canines. Sam released the least imidiately as Ben tried to calm me down.
My wolf mate run to me as she was in scare and hurt.
" Its okay. You are okay now. " I said as I hold her, unleashed her and rubbed her thick coat fur and soothed her.
" Miles, what is going on?" Ben asked me. He looked confuse. " Sam just doing his job."
" He hurting her! " I said with growl to Ben and Sam.
Ben was not only my Beta, but he also my best friend. But when it came to hurting my mate, then I'll stand with my mate.
" He is going to take her to the guess room to wait for Jane." Ben explained to me what Sam was going to do.
" What? Jane?" I wasn't sure what Ben was trying to say.
" Yes, she is the intruder wolf, Miles. " Ben said pointing my mate.
What? My mate is the intruder? The young wolf who can't shift back to human form? Who lives in human family? How is it possible?
" Everyone get out! " I said in Alpha Command. I needed to clear this thing with Ben, before anyone knew she was my mate.
Everyone started to leaving my office.
" Not you Ben! " I told ben when I saw him about to walked out of the door. He stayed after closing the door and walked back to me.
" Miles, what is going on?" he asked me still in confuse.
" She is my mate" I told him still rubbing her with my hand. Still can't believe she was my mate.
" What? Are you sure?" Ben asked in surprised.
" Yes, she is." I answered him as I looked at the wolf blue eyes. I looked her in amaze, how beautiful she wss in her wolf form. And I realized she was a silver wolf with blueish colour, a very rare one.
