Chapter seven

(Elena)

After telling the kids about their dad and having dinner, I learned more about Aiden and Killian. How they met and how they chose each other as mates. I think it was beautiful and seeing those two together did something to my libido. They don’t have any other kids besides Kaiden and Kiana and they don’t have a girlfriend.

“Elena, are you staying the night here at the castle?” Jackie asks. She’s the Beta’s mate.

“I can’t. The kids have school tomorrow and I have a report to write about what happened at the school. I then have grocery shopping to do before doing laundry”, I groaned. Tomorrow is my day off, but I have so much to do.

“So much for your day off” Tania said.

“I know, but I was supposed to do this today so I could have my day off tomorrow, so I have to do it tomorrow”, I told her.

“Can I come with you? I can help?” Tristan asked, half asleep.

“Don’t you have school tomorrow?” I asked him.

“I haven’t gone to school in two weeks” he says. I look at Aiden and Killian, who have been looking at me almost all night.

“I will enroll him in school tomorrow” Aiden says.

“Can I go with Elena?” Tristan asked Aiden.

“Why don’t we all go” Killian says, making my eyes widen.

“My place only has two bedrooms” I told them.

“We’ll figure it out when we get there” Aiden says, leaving no room for arguments.

“Fine. Then we should go because it’s late. Does Tristan have any clothes?” I asked. I stood up looking at a sleeping Kaiden and Kiana. Tristen followed right behind them. I see Aiden’s eyes glaze over and a few minutes later a woman shows up with a backpack. She bows and leaves.

“Okay, we’ll see you all tomorrow. Rick, you’re in charge until we get back tomorrow”, Aiden says, grabbing Kiana while Killian grabs Kaiden. Tristan makes his way towards me half asleep. I picked him up and we made our way to my car. Once the guys put the kids in the car, Aiden takes Tristan and sits in the back with the kids. I buckle them up before I get in the car and head to my place.

“Do you have a boyfriend?” Killian asks, making Aiden growl in the backseat.

“No” I chuckled.

“Good” they both say in unison.

“You live in the outskirts of the city?” Aiden asks.

“Yes” I replied. I knew I had to tell them everything. They deserve to know everything about their kids.

“You’re the wolf” I said, looking at Aiden.

“Lycan, actually,” he said.

“And you’re the dragon” I stated, and Killian nodded.

“Yes, but how? -”

“During my pregnancy, I thought there was something wrong because I was bigger than what I should’ve been. A little after I met the girl, I went into labor. They were with me the whole time”, I sighed, knowing this was the time and I couldn’t hide it from them if they wanted to be in their kids' lives.

“Kaiden and Kiana have already shifted. Six weeks ago. Kaiden shifted to his wolf, I mean Lycan and Kiana to her dragon. Jackie says they shouldn’t have shifted so early but they did. Living out here helps when Kaiden wants to run, or Kiana wants to spread her wings”, I said, looking at the kids through the rearview mirror.

“Kaiden shouldn’t have shifted until he was thirteen, but Kiana… she was late shifting. Dragons usually shift as soon as they are born”, Aiden said.

“It could be because she’s human. Wait…They didn’t attack you?” Killian asked, surprise laced in his voice.

“No, they submitted even though I’m human”, I admitted, making their eyes widen.

“That’s amazing. We’ve always known you were an amazing woman ever since we laid eyes on you”, Aiden says.

“Kitty, we’re sorry you had to go through the pregnancy and raise the kids by yourself. We promise that’s going to change starting today”, Killian says, and Aiden nods in agreement. I nod. I park the car and grab the kids before heading inside of the house.

“It’s small, but we love the location”, I tell them. I turned on the light and walked to Kaiden and Kiana’s room. I changed Kaiden and Kiana to their pajamas. I would have to give them a shower in the morning. I then put them in bed. I went to the closet in the hallway and grabbed a few blankets and a sleeping bag I had and made a makeshift bed for Tristan. I grabbed one of Kaiden’s extra pillows and put it under Tristan’s head before kissing all three of them. I turned off the light and left the door ajar.

“You’re getting attached to Tristan aren’t you?” Aiden asked.

“I think I got attached ever since I had to run him down” I chuckled, remembering.

“So it was you who ran into me” Killian says with a smirk on his face.

“I’m so sorry” I blushed.

“It’s all good” Killian winked at me, making me blush even darker. I walked to my room and the guys followed me. I open the closet in my room and get my pajamas, underwear, and a clean towel.

“I like this place” Aiden says.

“Yeah, it feels like home” Killian said, making Aiden nod in agreement.

“So you don’t live with the other girls?” Aiden asked as I walked into the bathroom.

“No, they live together and have their own house in the city. It was best for me to live apart from them since I’m human and I have two kids”, I replied, turning on the shower, stripping my clothes and getting in.

“Then why doesn’t Tania live here with you? She’s technically a human”, Killian said. I could hear they were both in the bathroom and my heart pounded in my chest.

“Because she’s a hunter. She was trained by her family. She left at the age of fifteen because she didn’t agree with how they did things. To her, being a hunter means not just protecting humans but also the supernatural from those who harm others. She basically gives everyone a chance to live in peace unless they hurt someone. She doesn’t do it for fame, power, or money. She just wants to protect those who can’t protect themselves. So do the other girls” I explained.

“Like you all did today at school. You were incredible, by the way”, Aiden says.

“Thank you, but I was just protecting my-our babies” I said, rinsing off. I turned off the shower and grabbed the towel. I wrap the towel around me and step out, only to be sandwiched between Aiden and Killian. Flashes of the night we spent together flashed in my head. I hear Aiden sniff the air and so does Killian.

“If you weren’t so tired, we would take you here and now” Aiden growled in my ear, and if it wasn’t because I was sandwiched between them my knees would’ve given out on me. Killian reaches behind me before kneeling in front of me. Aiden takes off my towel and I hear Killian gulp audibly. He grabs my foot, kissing it all the way up to my knee and inside my thigh. My hips bucked as I placed my foot inside my thong and he did the same to my other foot before I slipped them on.

“Let’s go and rest” Aiden whispers in my ear and nips it with his teeth as Killian steps back and I couldn’t hold back the whimper that left my lips. As I step foot in the room, I look at my queen-sized bed and look at the two massive men beside me.

“You can both take the bed. I can take the sofa”, I told them, and went to walk out the room when they both grabbed me.

“The three of us can fit here perfectly. Plus there is something I have to tell you” Aiden says, looking at Killian. They guide me to the bed, and I sit on the edge.

“Elena…” Aiden turns and looks at me “… I’m the Alpha King. Which means I’m the king of all Alphas”. I arch an eyebrow, but don’t say anything.

“As you know, Killian is my mate, but you’re also our mate”, I nodded in understanding. I’ve known about mates since I met the girls. I just never thought I would have a mate since I’m human.

“I have two mates?” I asked.

“Only if you accept me as your mate” Killian said, and I could hear the concern in his voice. I took their hands in mine before kissing them.

“I accept you both, but I don’t want this to be because of the bond. I’m human and I want to fall in love, not just the bond”, I admitted.

“As long as you accept us and give us a chance, it’s all we need and we will work on this so you can fall in love with the both of us” Aiden says, making me smile. We laid down with me in the middle. Aiden reaches over and kisses Killian, which makes me hot. Seeing them like this made me want to jump their bones. Suddenly, I felt Aiden’s lips on mine before kissing my temple. Killian turned my face to look at him and he kissed me as well, before kissing my forehead.

“Goodnight Kitty” Aiden said.

“Good night angel” Killian said.

“Goodnight” I said back.
