"Yes, sir. I will carry out your orders immediately," Alex said as he bowed his head and prepared to leave the room.
Although Alex had a flat and cold face, it didn't scare Anderson because the man preferred employees who had traits like Alex so as not to be easily read by their business opponents.
Anderson's laughter grew stronger at the sight of Alex trying to avoid him, but the young man didn't want to force Alex to tell him everything because it was Alex's personal right.
Just a few steps before Alex's feet moved, Anderson's cell phone suddenly rang, causing him to stop his confidant in his tracks. Anderson thought that the person behind the phone had gotten the latest information about something.
Alex stood back a little distance from Anderson's desk to hear who was calling his boss.
"Should I tap it in, sir?" Alex volunteered.
Anderson turned to look at Alex, after getting a question from his assistant.
"Do you want to hear the conversation between me and my wife? Then get married as soon as possible so that you don't feel jealous if someone else gets a call from his wife," Anderson said, sounding mocked by Alex.
Alex's face grew flatter with the words of his young master.
The man bowed his head again and said, "Excuse me, sir."
Alex hurriedly stepped out so as not to continue to get ridiculed by the man who was sitting in his oversized chair.
Anderson, who saw that, laughed out loud because he seemed to have succeeded in irritating his chief bodyguard.
"Wait Alex! Did someone order you to leave this room immediately?" Anderson asked.
Alex, who had opened the door to Anderson's office and was ready to step out, stopped his walk and turned towards his young boss.
Anderson also moved his hand asking Alex to come back closer to stand in front of him. Forced to comply, Alex closed the door to Anderson's office and stepped closer to his boss.
"Sorry, sir. Didn't you order me to find Ms. Ciara?" Alex said confused.
"I know, but wait a minute, Yesa called me. Maybe she got an update on Ciara's whereabouts," Anderson replied and looked at his cell phone.
Because he had been talking to Alex for too long, Anderson's cell phone which had been ringing now stopped, making the man grumble, "It's all because of you, Alex. After this, Yesa will be mad at me for not answering her calls."
Anderson said those words while showing the screen of his cell phone.
Alex who heard that chose to remain silent, even though he had not done anything wrong. Wasn't it Anderson who prevented him from leaving the man's room.
Why me? Wasn't he the one who prevented me? Alex grumbled in his heart as well.
Anderson tried to call his wife back because he was sure that she was calling him to tell him about Ciara's whereabouts, because Ciara was very important in his life.
Just as the call rang, there was an answer from the other side.
"Why didn't you answer my call earlier?" Yesa asked directly.
"I'm sorry, honey. I was just talking to Alex to give him orders to find Ciara," Anderson replied. He didn't want to beat around the bush, fearing that his wife might misunderstand or even think things about him.
"No! There's no need to do that! Just cancel your order to Alex because I already know where Ciara is," Yesa told her husband.
"Really? Where is she now? Is she okay? Are you going to meet her right this minute?" chided Anderson.
On the other side, Yesa rolled her eyes lazily at his questions.
"No, I'm not. Maybe later tonight I'll go there to see how she's doing because she's just now returning home. She's fine and has told me everything that happened last night," Yesa replied telling Anderson not to scratch her again.
"Did something happen to him?" asked Anderson again, even though Yesa had already said that his best friend was fine.
Meanwhile, Alex, who heard every sentence that came out of the boss's mouth, was a little scared if Ciara mentioned his name later, for what they had done last night.
"Later when you're home I'll tell you everything, the most important thing right now is that Ciara is fine. Let her rest first," Yesa said again.
"So I don't need to order Alex?" asked Anderson to be sure.
Yesa shook her head, but unfortunately Anderson didn't see it. "No, you don't. Let him alone first," Yesa replied.
"Alright then."
The call between the two ended.
Anderson put the phone back on his desk and looked at Alex who was still faithfully waiting without complaining, but kept a straight face.
"There is no need to look for Ciara's whereabouts because Yesa said that Ciara is at home and is fine," said Anderson who canceled his order to his chief of bodyguards.
"Didn't Mrs. Yesa say anything else, sir?" asked Alex.
Hearing the question from his confidant made Anderson furrow his brow.
Realizing that his words were wrong and might make Anderson suspicious, Alex said, "I mean, is it true that Miss Ciara is fine?"
Anderson suddenly chuckled with a gaze that did not take its eyes off Alex's handsome face.
"You seem to care a lot about Ciara. Don't let your feelings turn away from Giulia! But no matter, I'd prefer if you had a relationship with Ciara since I already know her background," Anderson said and managed to make Alex tug at the corners of his lips, as that would never happen. In fact, now she hated that woman even more who she considered a w***e.

Alex, who had returned to his desk, was relieved that Anderson had canceled the order to search for Ciara's whereabouts. Alex couldn't imagine that the woman would get so big-headed and assume that he was worried about Ciara without knowing the truth.
Alex rubbed her face roughly.
"Stop Alex from thinking about that useless woman! It's better now to think about how to get revenge on Giulia and that jerk," he monologued with both hands on his desk.
Alex racked his brains on how he could hurt without touching the man who had managed to take away his happiness.
For a long time Alex thought about what would be the right way to teach Giulia and Ozzie a lesson. It seemed like he had remembered something and had figured out how he could avenge the humiliation and hurt the new couple had caused him.
"You asked me to do this Giulia. If only you hadn't betrayed me, then I would never have hurt you. But you're such a sadist that this wound is so deep. Not only your infidelity, but the insults you gave me and the long nights I had to share with the woman I hated. Just be ready to take it all, then I'll make sure you'll fall to your knees before me!" Alex said with a sharp gaze with both hands clasped tightly, until they looked white.
