Meet Alex

Before she knew it, night had fallen. Ciara did not realize that she had spent the whole day sleeping, in addition to very sleepy eyes, her body also felt very tired, even she also felt some parts of her body looked sick. The woman opened her eyes and was immediately greeted with a sound from the direction of her stomach which indicated that she was very hungry. How could she not be? She hadn't eaten anything all day, not even a cup of water.

Ciara immediately sat up and reached for her flat object. She was surprised to realize that it was almost seven in the evening.

"Oh my god. Am I sleeping or dead? How did I do that all day?" she asked herself, surprised that this was the first time she had done so.

"It's all because of Rudolf!" she said as she recalled last night.

The woman's face pouted, but she realized that there was no point in blaming her ex-boyfriend, it wouldn't fill her stomach by itself.

Ciara stood up and hurried to the bathroom, after that she would order dinner even to cook it felt like she was very lazy, not like usual who was very diligent when she was in the kitchen.

Ciara fell silent again when looking at her body from the reflection of the glass without a single thread, where many red marks were left by Alex when they spent the hot night yesterday.

A heavy sigh escaped the beautiful woman's mouth.

"How could you, Ciara, do that with Alex, even the man you hate so much?" she monologued to herself.

"This is very embarrassing, even more embarrassing than the incident at the mall a while ago," Ciara said.

Suddenly the woman remembered the incident where she and Alex could hate each other until now.

At the time, Ciara thought that Alex was the man who hurt her best friend, Yesa. Even though the person was Anderson and the man who was now Yesa's husband was not intentional, even out of control when he did that to Yesa. Ciara, who met Alex in one of the shopping centers, immediately shouted at the man as someone who would abuse Ciara. It was deliberately done by the woman to avenge her best friend. Of course, Alex confronted some of the Mall security to ask Anderson's help to fix his name because it almost got into the latest news in their country.

From that incident, Alex was always careful when dealing with Ciara, even her resentment towards the woman is still high to this day.

Meanwhile, Ciara did not apologize to Alex for what she had done. For Ciara, Alex and Anderson at that time were the same to make her best friend afraid to leave the house because of Anderson's actions.

Ciara snapped out of her reverie, causing the woman to shake her head and sigh heavily.

"Why do I have to deal with that annoying guy all the time? Does my life have to be under Alex's shadow?" Ciara said again.

The girl's face was still folded. Ciara also ended her regrets because there was no point anymore, it was better to think about how to live the next life.

If only she had been conscious last night, maybe she wouldn't have been in the same room with Alex. The woman continued her desire to take a shower because she was very hungry, it was impossible to linger in the bathroom, plus the night weather was currently very cold.

It didn't take long before the woman had finished cleaning herself and was ready to order dinner on her cell phone.

Ciara kept swiping through her phone screen to find what she wanted to eat, but in the middle of her concentration, she suddenly heard the sound of several cars pulling up to her yard.

She immediately put down her phone. She already knew who was visiting her house, who else if not her good friend Yesa who was escorted by several bodyguards because since she got married, Yesa had never been allowed to go alone by Anderson. Moreover, it was already late at night, plus Yesa was heavily pregnant.

Ciara rushed out, but before that, she peeked around to make sure, for some reason a sudden sense of doubt came over her.

Ciara seemed to sigh again when she noticed the figure of the man who had insulted her this morning, but as she and Alex had agreed when they were in the hotel room, they would never bring up the matter and act like nothing had ever happened between them, especially in front of Yesa and Anderson. It was better for Ciara because she didn't want the two couples to think that she was a slut who could sleep with any man, especially Anderson.

When she opened the door, there were already three people standing, Yesa, Anderson, and Alex.

Ciara briefly glanced at Alex, who was also looking at her. However, both of them immediately looked away, and Ciara immediately looked and smiled at Yesa and then returned the hug to Anderson's wife.

"Are you okay?" she asked as she hugged her best friend's body.

"You don't have to worry, I'm fine," Ciara replied.

"You always say that, trying to cover up what you're feeling," Yesa said again.

Ciara giggled and then slowly released Yesa's embrace and smiled broadly.

"Right, I'm fine. Look, nothing happened to me!" Ciara said while spreading her arms, showing that she was indeed fine.

Yes, seeing that, suddenly widened her lips.

"It's better to go inside. Do you want to stand outside?" Ciara said again while pulling her best friend's hand to enter the house followed by Anderson and Alex. Wherever Anderson was, Alex always followed and guarded his young master.

Not only come to see Ciara's condition, Yesa also brought dinner for her best friend. Even the pregnant woman wanted to invite them to eat together, including Alex.

Sure enough, Ciara kept her promise to Alex and didn't even seem to consider the man's existence among them.

"You must not have had dinner yet, right? I deliberately brought this food for you, so that we can have dinner together," she said as she laid her body down on the sofa very carefully, even with Anderson's help.

What a beautiful sight, Ciara thought.

Lucky you, Sa, Ciara said to herself with a smile.

Alex who saw that immediately thought badly of Ciara. Is she up to no good? I won't let that happen! thought Alex, who kept watching Ciara's movements.

"I was just about to order dinner," Ciara replied as she inhaled the delicious aroma of some of the food Yesa had brought.

"Already, we'd better eat now before the food gets cold," said Yesa as she stood up to bring the packages to the dining table.

"I'll carry it," said Ciara who also stood up because she knew her best friend's condition did not allow her to carry all the items.

"You're underestimating me? Even though I'm heavily pregnant, it doesn't take away my strength," Yesa replied with a pouty face.

"Even when you're not pregnant, you don't have the strength," Ciara mocked with a laugh and then took some of the packages that were already in Yesa's hands because she didn't want her friend to be exhausted.

Anderson stood up and said, "Never mind, let us carry them. You two just wait at the dining table."

He also gave Alex the code to help him carry some of the food they had bought and Alex readily carried out Anderson's order.

When Alex wanted to take some of the food, his hand accidentally held Ciara's hand and made them look at each other. This did not escape the eyes of Yesa and Anderson, of course, Yesa was very happy and even tried hard to hold back her smile.
