CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Daniel watched as Remi sat in Sanderson’s armchair and stared at the pages of Latin code. Silently he urged her to figure it all out, have one of her flashes of insight so she could suddenly read it like she could read regular Latin texts.
That didn’t happen. After many long minutes of anticipation, Daniel’s heart sank as she slowly shook her head.
“I could break this eventually, but it would take days. Maybe weeks. We don’t have the time for that.”
